  1. Just cause you'd do that, Jaimin, doesn't mean Sam would. He seems like a lovely respectable boy
  2. Don't think a groin problem is serious though... Right?
  3. Yep and add hoilett to that list as well
  4. This young man has a great attitude and personality and if he keeps working hard he will succeed! I just wish that we hadn't played him in the league this season so that he could have gone on loan either immediately after he signed or now in January. What was the point in playing him for a total of... what? 30 minutes and now he's going to practically miss an entire season of football. Sigh.
  5. I think I've said this before but the signing of Mata has made me a little more hopeful about transfers like these. But still... it will be heartbreaking if he ends up at Citeh
  6. I really really dislike this guy. And I don't just mean the player Malouda, but also the person Malouda. I know it's unfair since I don't actually know him, but I just get such a bad vibe off of him. What TX has said above about him manipulating the media, I have felt the exact same way for a few years now. For the last 2-3 seasons, he's been commenting to the press about how he "wants to end his career at Chelsea" in order to manipulate the club into giving him a new contract. If he says that once, it's not a big deal. Twice even. But he's said it countless times. It's easy to not realize it because he does it every 2-3 months but articles have always been popping up every now and then with quotes from him saying practically the same thing in different ways. He's finally been put in his place this season with the arrival of Mata when we no longer have to depend on him. So now he's "unhappy" sitting on the bench. Well you should have given more effort in 3 out of your 5 seasons you twat. Badboy criticized Paulo Ferreira for (in his opinion) undeservedly getting wages for doing nothing at the club but I feel more strongly about that argument when it applies to Malouda. It's really very strange but I even cringe when I see him laughing or joking on the touchline, like how he was as he was waiting to come on as a sub on Saturday. It's like... I feel it's all just a facade to continue his media image of being this "nice loyal guy". I know it sounds preposterous. But it's just how I feel. I personally cannot wait to see him leave the club. Thanks for the memories.
  7. Don't think anyone's mentioned this yet but it annoys me when the cameramen insist on zooming into the ball lying on the edge of the 6-yard box as the goalkeeper is getting ready to make a goalkick. They just show the goddamn ball for about 5-6 seconds and then slowly zoom out as the goalkeeper runs and kicks it. Somehow it has become something like an "artistic shot" among them & the directors because they just loooove to do it but it's ridiculous and annoying.
  8. I'm not 'pinning my hopes' on Essien. I too recognize that we need a creative midfielder and have been saying that for months as well. But it's nice to have Essien back. And like you, I am skeptical about whether he'll ever return to the Essien of old. But it's nice of you to simply write him off without even giving him a chance.
  9. It'll be extremely important for us to start well and retain possession in the first 15-20 minutes like how we did v. Wolves last week. Hopefully Norwich's attacking style will leave gaps behind for Mata, Torres & Sturridge to exploit.
  10. Please not Stoke. I'd be very disappointed if he ended up playing for those thugs.
  11. Haha I'm not sure he knew much about that! Have to see it again
  12. Has "captainmarveljt" already been taken? I'm considering changing mine
  13. How in Gods name did Bosingwa actually become a defender? I would really like to know who this knowledgeable person was that took a look at Jose Bosingwa and thought "wow, he would make a good defender!"
  14. most of the guys here would use it to zoom in to the area where Eva is sitting
  15. Torres was good (though I didn't feel he was as good as some claimed he was) but no one else really stood out either so went for him
  16. Interesting but doesn't really help the regular viewer like manpe mentioned because no one will be arsed to fiddle around with a mouse/joystick during the game
  17. yeah but it was especially loud for about 5 minutes after the goal. It seemed that way on the telly anyways
  18. Was that why there was all that "Torres! Torres!" chanting after the goal? I thought it was out of pity lol but what you said makes sense as well
  19. Those are just basic stats but clearly our impression of him while watching the game is different.
