I think this will be a 1-1 draw or 0-1 loss. Honestly we are in dire need of 2 new, fresh and hungry midfielders, we need to play Mata in a central role behind the strikers and we need to either play sturridge as CF or perhaps do a striker companionship.

Meireles never EVER makes sense, not in defensive nor offensive football. He simply adds NOTHING.

Because Sturridge is naturally a forward (CF), not a winger. The reason he's playing out there is because we got a 50m striker they insist on keep playing despite not scoring goals and that we havent got anyone else to take sturridge's position.

Send Torres on a loan, buy Hulk and move Sturridge to CF.

If AVB has any sense in his head then the following players should/should not start: Start: Lukaku, Sturridge, Kalou, (Malouda) NOT: Bosingwa, Meireles, Drogba, Torres

Torres was a panicbuy prolly a demand by Roman. Raul was bought basically because not much else was available. How about: Lets fucking never buy players without really thinking it over.

I dont understand why on earth he would start with Meireles. I also dont understand why on earth he doesn't put Torres in around the 70th minute. I also dont get people who think we in a million years had a chance of getting away with a clean sheet? If we'd score ONE MORE GOAL we'd have an awesome result. Chelsea just cannot fucking create anything. THAT is a bigger issue than our defensive ones

I would prefer to have Kalou aswell, i really think he can deliver. Id also favour Danny playing abit more central because i think his speed, dribbling and technique is a key to this. And having Drogba there aswell enables us to play long balls aswell, and having Danny in there enables Drogba to assist him aswell. The only thing I dont like is Bosingwa of course, but given our situation perhaps he is a SLIGHT favour to Bertrand in this particular game.

Sacking AVB is the worst thing Chelsea can do. Seriousley, everyone is craving for a long-term coach and I honestly believe AVB is that person even if things arent looking good or promising atm. But to be honest, you first have to consider the team he has to play with. Players such as: Malouda, Meireles, Bosingwa, Torres and the ageing backbone of Chelsea: Terry but maybe most importantly Lampard and Drogba. Our midfield is HORRIBLE at the moment and we have huge team issues. Even i AVB has made some, according to me, tactical and team-selection errors, he must be given time to be part of the summer spending and then the following season to implement his ideas and playstyle into a new, fresher team. Sacking him will only put us further down the road. KEEP THE FAITH UP GOD DAMNIT.

I think a 4-4-2 formation is best suited against Napoli and their 5man midfield. Quick counters will be the key to winning this fight and with that in mind I hope the formation will be: --------------Cech--------------- Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole/Bertrand Ramires Romeu Lampard Mata -------Sturridge Drogba ---------- Possibly Essien+mikel even instead of romeu/lampard. But perhaps that switch should be made if we're in a lead.

There's always two sides of everything. First of all AVB isn't to blame for everything, but he is most certainly to BE blamed. AVB: 1) His teamselection is horrible. The fact that he chooses to play meireles and mikel against Birmingham is absolutley clueless. Those two have no creativity what so ever and are an option when playing abit more defensive football. 2) I really doubt his team encouragement and motivation skills. Lately I really believe the players do not respect him and have little faith in him. 3) His substitutions suck bigtime. For instance, taking Mata off at that time is just stuipid. Mata rarely loses his creativity and pace and would have been needed for the whole game. Putting Lamps on for the last 9 minutes is just a no brainer. He should of started. The team: Even if our team isnt the strongest, the players are to blame for alot. They are paid like fucking gods and they are playing in the premier league, in a "top club" like Chelsea. Even if they perhaps arent happy with the manager or lose faith they should still play strong and keep themselfes motivated. How the fuck did we beat City to play this shitty against Birmingham, or teams such as Wolves and Swansea? The skills and play IS THERE but for some reason it doesnt show. Seems like they dont care (except for a few, Luiz, danny, mata etc) Conclusion: We are in dire need of some creativity in the team. The only player I have trust in the midfield is Ramires and possibly Essien to some part. The rest are pretty much utter shit and we would need 2 midfielders I think. Depending on what our gamestyle of choice will be one of those need to be a winger so that PERHAPS and depending on what happens with Torres and Lukaku maybe Danny could play as CF even. Either way, some type of forward is a must. Hopefully Mata can drop and take a position behind the striker(s) to feed more balls to. Anyway, I expect us o get slaughtered by Napoli in all honesty. I expect us to have a 3-1 defeat and at home it'll probably be a horrible 1-1 display or alike. 4th i the PL isn't expected atm either. Our choice is to bet huge in the summer on new players and give AVB 100% trust in a long time view.

Our team hasnt looked this bad in a long time, so try some CHANGES and give other players a chance.
