There's always gonna be the discussion of "what if" or "we should of...". Selling Thibaut and see him flourish even more would hurt immensly. That, added to the fact a possible small but steady loss of performance and sharpness by Cech and that we possibly wont end up in a satisfied situation with our keeper we'd always say "we should of kept Thibaut" or "what if he was our keeper now instead?". Same goes for the fact if we sell Cech and Thibaut isn't what we expect right away. There will be chaos at these forums with "we should have kept Cech". Whatever happens, at the moment I am rather convinced Thibaut will be a top 5 keeper for the coming 10-15 years. I really honestly believe that. It would be a shame if we let that potential go, unless we get a really good bid for him or if he's part of some kind of really good deal.

Statistics are often not very interesting. Not unless you look at what's behind the numbers. For instance, Drogba didnt score loads of goals for us the last 2 seasons, but boy if his goals were important. They were throughout his career. A big game player. MANY of Torres' goals are against championship teams and some are also when we were already up by 2-0 etc. Torres is shit now matter how you chose to look at it. You dont even have to read the statistics. Anyone who's followed Chelsea long enough, and especially since Torres joined, knows this.

He isnt more than human + he needs a proper striker to link up with. I think the key to win this game is to win the battles in midfield and be quick on the counter. I would lineup the following team and I would expect a comfortable win. 2-0 Chelsea. Eto'o Hazard Willian Lampard - Luiz - Ramires Azpi - JT - Cahill - Iva Cech

Haha this forum sometimes make me laugh. It's either "he's not our guy" or "he's our player of the season". Oscar played semi-injured and basically had a bad day, and now I see some people claiming he isnt our guy, like Mata. What some people obviousley cannot realize is that there is no player who can constantly offer a world-class performance. You sometimes hit a low, and its understandable. What I do like about our team nowadays though is that we do have versitility. We dont have to rely too much on one guy (maybe Hazard?). I also see some people worrying about rotation, but calm down. We've had some additions to the team and everything cannot happen over night. We're top of the league and competing in CL. Add that to the fact that we do not have the striker we need, I am damn proud over this team and their performance. That includes Oscar. We all know what he is capable of doing. He's also still young.

No, just no. With Iva and Rami at that right wing we wont have much to offer from there. There is just no reason to use Rami as a RW when we've got enough wingers now.
