Finally Estevao. Wish Palmer stayed on though.
-
Dumb Delap getting a card too within minutes of coming on.
-
Another free-handout. Why TF does Gittens keep getting opportunity? I get it..he's a LW. But Neto can play there as well.
-
They need to stop giving free handouts to the likes of Badiashile and Tosin.
-
Sanchez single-handedly keeping Chelsea in the game now.
-
Self-inflicted goal. Shitty to concede. And what caused it? Genius pass from Benoit Badiashile
-
Pedro Neto looking a bit gassed. Might be a good time to bring on Estevao
-
Whats with these new age chants "you're just a shit Cole Palmer" or "you're just a shit Estavao" Both of those sound like an oxymoron If it was "shit Lord Bendtner" or "shit Karius" would make more sense. Palmer on a shitty day is still good.

Yeah
-
Or maybe a Joao Pedro goal..he touched the ball, lol
-
Did Reece James score directly from a corner?
-
It's a shame that this Villa side is ahead of Chelsea on the table. They look so boring. Just sitting there doing nothing The sad thing is that they know that will be enough as far as the league table goes
-
Nice football,..Just lacked a final finish from Enzo, but he helped setup the move.

Clearlake pecking order: Fofana > Badiashile =~ Tosin >>>> Acheampong
-
More realistic target for Clearlake. No chance we will make a move for an established CB with Colwill, Fofana, and Badiashile still on the books.
-
Very unlikely we go in for either. Based on the article Vesper shared a few weeks back, this club administration doesn't want an experienced (and therefore expensive) CB on their books. Between Colwill, Badiashille and Fofana (all 3 with injury troubles), the club feels they have enough in the tank, and will only go in for another squad level CB player. Basically, either a Tosin or Disasi, or a hopeful youth prospect. Just hope its the latter, because many won't have the patience to watch another disaster from a Tosin or Disasi type.
-
Not to mention that Moyes came in removed most of Fergie's title winning staff, replacing them with his own. Don't think Maresca would do something daft as that.
-
Watching that tackle from Reece James in the 77th minute. Insane stuff, covering for that ball watching Fofana who lost his man. No wonder Sanchez gave him a big hug at the end. One of the few players with high footballing IQ in the squad. Would take that over low IQ, high talent players anyday.
-
Hope this match puts to rest the idea that they could be the solution to our CB problems. Good squad players but wouldn't trust either unless they have a world class CB playing alongside.
-
Fabregas is the only one in that list, thats remotely interesting.
-
Any manager with ambition would get frustrated with the lot, IMO. By this lot, I mean the board and directors, not the squad. There are better managers than Maresca out there, sure. But for every Maresca, you also risk getting a Ten Haag. Can remind everyone, that this board also had big Ange on the shotlist at one point. That's how laughable and scatter-brained their approach can be. Still havent secured a permanent shirt sponsor after 3 years., and struggling to keep ahead of UEFAs FFP rules.
-
Don't quite agree with that. There's sources in the press claiming that the directors have input into team selection. Which players are getting selected because of them is a question mark, but the likes of Tosing getting game after game ahead of Acheampong is not a coincidence
-
I think every manager has some amount of self-respect. Some more than others. Maresca also has his tipping point, it looks like.
-
Clock winding down. Estevao coming on.
-
Yellow card, but it was worth it. Ref gave a free counter attack for Everton by letting them foul James
