BREAKING NEWS We understand Chelsea are one of three clubs interested in signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United this summer. It is understood Chelsea have yet to make a formal offer but are keen on signing Martial, along with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Martial, currently with the Manchester United squad in Los Angeles, has a year remaining on his current contract and we understand he has told Jose Mourinho he wants to leave. However, sources have told us that United are not interested in selling Martial and Mourinho has suggested he will be part of the squad for their opening game of the season against Leicester.

I think this is the type of signing that would make Hazard stay, Higuain is a world class striker.

Embarrassing from the admins i have to say.

Can we get rid of this cringey thread name please? Show some class and respect to our new man and name it "The Maurizio Sarri Thread"
-

JORGINHO, CITY NOT GIVING UP Manchester City are still confident of signing Jorginho despite strong interest from Chelsea. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed he agreed a deal for Jorginho with Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak over two weeks ago but, according to Sky in Italy, Chelsea have since come in with a bigger offer, in terms of both the transfer fee and wages. We understand that the player told Man City two months ago that he wanted to join them and move to Manchester - and sources close to the club believe that remains the case. fuck me...

Get this giraffe out of our club and I couldn't be any happier.

News from Sky Italia on Maurizio Sarri's future. Under the FIFA principle that "all members must be able to carry out their duties", the potential new Chelsea boss could terminate his contract when Carlo Ancelotti is unveiled as Napoli manager on July 1. However, technically Napoli could keep Sarri under contract and appeal to FIFA if Sarri decides to leave. In the case of a successful appeal, Napoli would get a compensation from Sarri that would be much smaller than the release clause. Chelsea would also risk getting a relatively small fine.
-
Sky sources understand the Chelsea manager situation is still some way from being resolved. Talks are continuing over a pay-off for Antonio Conte and until that is sorted, the potential appointment of Maurizio Sarri cannot be finalised. We understand Chelsea want to negotiate down the amount Conte would receive if he was to leave – it is thought he is due £9m for the final year of his contract. As for Sarri, reports in Italy claim Chelsea would need to have him on board before July 1 to trigger the lower release clause. They would pay around £4m in compensation to Napoli compared to £7m if they employed him after that date. The uncertainty at Stamford Bridge could yet see Conte STAY at the club.

We're told there's been no contact from Chelsea towards Sarri or Zola and that won't happen until Conte's situation is resolved. From Sky sports

Swap this Donkey for Oblak and I could'nt be happier.

Love how silent it is in this thread when he gets back from a 3 game ban and is absolutely rock solid. Him and Rudiger were immense shutting down Salah.
-
In the PFA team of the year, what a way to silence the haters he has here. Clearly underappreciated on here.
-
Kane on the bench.
-
WHO'S THIS THEN? Harry Kane has just got off the Tottenham bus, without even a sign of a hobble as he walks into the Stamford Bridge away dressing room. But will he feature? We'll find out at 2pm... Here we go...
-
Just came on to earn his first cap vs Argentina. Congrats Marcos, well deserved!
-
Yeah I also think its stupid, but I'm just saying it's not like Southampton have a full week to rest for our semi-final match.
-
Well Southampton also play on that Thursday away to Leicester and considering their relegation battle they wont be able to rest players either.
-
Am I the only one who thinks he deserves a better chant than the ridiculous "we'll just call you dave"?
