This is what i think his cycle is for Marcos himself... Starts a match, does well in a couple of matches, starts to think he is an automatic starter, lets his effort and perfomance drop, gets dropped, ups his efforts and performance in training, back to square one.

Rom is great against less gifted sides as he can bully their players, but please for those crunch games we need our fast pace press. It is our game, especially in our CL run, it was vital. The things I worry about most is he becomes undroppable or when he gets dropped he has a fit, but hopefully he has matured and this wont happen.

I would drop Lukaku but he is made for these games, not our last 2.

He will score against lesser sides, but the more organised ones he will struggle. I think interchangeable attackers workes better against organised sides. Also, are we creating less chances too with him at front? Is there a stat for that?

They were more up for it than we were, given that we won 3x in a row against them it was always going to be hard to make it 4. For that reason it seem to push city more. May not be a popular opinion but I would drop Lukaku in big games where we wont have much possession, our game against these teams are always to counter them, worked so well before. Overall dissapointed that we lost at SB, but hopefully the lads can take that reality check, learn from it and kick on.
