I think, if there is zero chance of Digne coming just on loan, then we might go for Theo. I think the club are waiting on Evertons stance regarding Digne. He wants to play european football but we only want a loan so we'll see what happens
I think him scoring goals would help all parties, for Chelsea obviously goals help the team and his price doesnt plummet. For him, he can entice other clubs to buy him.
This guy is as good as gone to me. The disrespect shown to Chelsea FC and the pure entitlement... and also he has to know that doing that interview would not be advised as he has done it secretly. I just cant wrap my head around what he had hoped to achieve doing the interview, so short sighted.
Hopefully we can recoup some of our money back.
Kova Kante was great today, tireless, amazing. Front 3 did pretty well seeing as Kai has just started playing again. Most important thing was the great mentality shown today by the team.
Ps. happy with the draw as I expected us to lose, with all thats going on.
All this talk of will Lukaku be dropped for this match or not and here I am thinking how the hell are we going to get a fraction of our money back from his sale.. £97M we spent on him... sigh...
What irks me the most is that he talks like hes this big shot, better than anyone else, all round world beater, the system should suit him and not the team.. in my opinion, thats what i see anyway..
When he signed i said that i would be happy with goals here and there from him, but the important thing i hoped for was that he not kick a fuss if things arent going his way ie not starter, adapt to the system, be a team player.. now only 6 months in.. damn...
Thats it, game over. Apparently he set this interview up himself.. if true, what a joke.
We are not in the title challenge, getting top 4 without him is doable. And do what we did previously for our CL run.
Ps. Can we even sell him with decent fee now? ffs
Did anybody else read Lukaku's interview on Sky Sports? Also on Fabrizio Romano's IG.. About him being not happy at the situation here... WTF
Kinda feels like he regrets coming here lol.. *facepalm*
Just thinking about that CHO chance, he has no confidence in front of goal.. just take the shot! Also only having one sub left, it was hard to make any tactical changes
I think it all depends if we can get Digne on just a loan, without an obligation to buy. If Everton want to put in a buy clause at £25M, we might aswell go with Theo at £50. As mentioned here ACL injuries take long to recover and no guarantee the player can play at the same level.
