  1. Hmm...oh well. I just hope that Ballack is put in the starting line up for the Portsmouth game.
  2. I still think and hope that we'll see Ballack in the starting line up. Scolari should know what he can do after knocking Portugal out the last two tournaments. Paulo/Bosingwa, JT, Carvalho, Ashley Essien Deco, Lampard Ballack Drogba, Anelka or Paulo/Bosingwa, JT, Carvalho, Ashley Essien Deco, Ballack, Lampard Drogba, Anelka
  3. I think Ballack is the superior player. Sure he can get a little bitchy at times, but most of the time he completely dominates play in the midfield. That being said Lamps is a great player that shouldn't be benched the whole year. I'd love to see a four man midfield; whether thats in a 4-4-2 or 4-1-2-1-2. Bosingwa, JT, Riccy, Cole Essien Deco, Lampard Ballack Dogba, Schevenko/Anelka/whoever
  4. Drogba is a great player, perhaps one of the best strikers in the world. Anyone who says we'd be a better team without him is just crazy. The only problem I have with him is that he doesn't give his all for every game. Don't get me wrong he does when we need it, cup/CL/any other big games but thats it. If he just gave his all every game the fans would have no reason to boo him.
  5. I will be staying at uni and alas they don't have FSC. Setanta is available only by satellite in the US, uni has cable. I think I'm gonna do the thing constantine said as I'm a poor student have a shit load of stuff to buy.
  6. A couple of questions here. Constantine, with the thing you posted do I have to be there right at the start of the match or could I start it later in the evening (remember I'll be in America) and still see the beginning of the match? Jim, after browsing the Chelsea site I've seen Chelsea Plus and Chelsea TV. Chelsea Plus looks like it only gives match highlights, while Chelsea TV wouldn't be available as the Uni I'm studying at only has cable. Any, if I ordered Chelsea Plus would I be able to watch full matches?
  7. Alright so I'm going to go to school in the United States this year on a student transfer thing. Only problem is...I won't be able to watch Chelsea matches. The uni I'm going to doesn't have fox soccer channel so thats out of the question. Does anyone have any websites/stuff that will let me watch Chelsea matches on my computer?
  8. I'm glad he realizes that it's time for him to go in two years. Nothing worse than an ignorant over the hill football star. Hopefully he'll be able to win a major tournament for once. Hopefully the World Cup for us in two years.
  9. An all around great box to box player. I'm glad he's staying.
  10. I've heard of almost every club in the EPL and la Liga linked with him. I don't want him, we have four midfielders that could start in a 4-3-3 system (assuming Felipe keeps it that way) and on top of that I'd rather we go after Robinho.
  11. Ronaldinho is getting oldish...he's what like 30 or 31 now? Robinho is younger and might take a few years to adjust to the EPL but I'd rather have him than the old guy.
  12. If Lampard wants to leave we should sell him. What's the use in keeping a player that doesn't want to be there?
  13. I was just saying as I heard someone complain that Chelsea should have offered Lampard a two year deal. Personally I'm glad we brought Deco in, it'll give a new look to the club, hopefully for the better.
  14. I thought I read somewhere that Chelsea only wanted to offer Lamps a two year contract but he wanted at least three.
  15. We played good for the first ten minutes and then from the 60th to the 65th but that was it. Spain deserved it this time around however...World Cup '06 = 3rd.....Euro '08 - 2nd....World Cup '10 = 1st? Anyways congrats to the Spanish squad you deserved it this time around.
  16. I think the price is fair for his age. I'd still love to see Kaka come, imagine this Deco, Ballack, Kaka, Essien. Wow! Also like to see Villa come to pair with Drogba in a 4-4-2 or if he can play a winger/striker in a 4-3-3.
  17. Well, my immediate family lives in Hamburg, however the rest of my family lives in towns outside of Munich. My dad used to work in England and that's how he got me hooked Best addiction one could possibly have.
  18. Goal.com has reported more of the same. Hope its false though. http://www.goal.com/en-US/articolo.aspx?contenutoid=754960
  19. I'm glad he's calling them back early, gives 'em more of a chance to get used to his style and for him to see what we truly need out of the transfer market.
  20. Hey guys Tyler here, been a fan of Chelsea since my dad got me hooked on them around '96. I've been looking for awhile for a fan forum that was not too big. Glad I found this place and I look forward to talking football with you guys.
