I never said that it didn't happen, just the media waxes over the story with a bit of drama; like always. I just read some reports that JT's and Maka's relationship is frosty at best now, which is what I was referring to as drama. At least I think I read that somewhere...

A Tottenham fan just said that Hugo Lloris, the captain of France and one of the best Goal Keepers in the world is worth only £12 Million. What a moron, not only does he massive credentials but he plays for Lyon. And when did Lyon of all clubs become a pushover in the transfer market? If there is a club that rivals Porto for being a pain in the arse to deal with, it's Lyon. Malouda - £13 Million Essien - £25 Million Pjanic - £13 Million Benzema - £30 Million Diarra - £26 Million Toulaloun - £10 Million Ben Arfa - £10 Million And Lyon is going to sell Lloris for £12 Million.

I believe the situation has been very much blown out of proportion. Sure, it could be called an 'incident' but it just seems to me that this is just another instance of the media creating drama.

I can't see why people are so anal rententive about Meireles playing in the '10' role. Out of all the positions he has played, I feel most comfortable when he in there. Of course, there are a few others I would prefer in that position. EDIT: Turns out I was wrong about the formation...

No, but he was a criminal. Smoking joints at the pub!

I'm sure it's not really a 'thing'.

I've really been punishing my body with alcohol lately. And it's only going to get worse when my best childhood friend returns to town. It just so happens he is a budding alcoholic. Last night was really weird, I have no idea if I had a good time or a bad time.

I drank with an Estonian and three Frenchmen last night. How the hell do I met these people?
-
Aye, he doesn't neglect his denfensive duties but he shouldn't be relied on for the defence. If he is to be ever played in that position his number one priority should be ball retetion and distribution. Xavi while he isn't a great tackler, his intercepting and pressing is incredible and Pirlo doesn't do a thing when it comes to defence. Even though he may never reach his heights, De Bruyne could become a very similar player to Xavi. On another note people should not compare McEachran to Xavi, if I had to compare Josh to a Barça midfielder it would be Iniesta. They both drift around and look for space to occupy off the ball, and while on the ball use simple and short dribbles to creat space to pass the ball.
-
I agree 100% about De Bruyne. He is not an athlete at all and that in turn will cause problems out wide. His passing range and vision is very impressive and with those abilities I believe he can be molded into the Xavi/Pirlo styled Regista. Ideally I believe the 4-3-3 would fit De Bruyne and I would stylise like this: De Bruyne - Box-To-Box Midfielder Anchor Man Naturally being a very attack minded player his entire career/life I don't expect De Bruyne to disrupting play and making tackles/interceptions. A defensive cover would be needed in the vein of a B2B tank like Essien [was] or Touré also with a DM that uses finesse like Cambiasso or Makélélé (Anchor Man, as I call it but the terminology is probably wrong). It is a shame we have neither at the moment.
-
I wasn't judging De Bruyne on those games. It is very arrogant to assume that everyone has judged De Bruyne on the preseason. For the record, I don't even like Moses.
-
At the moment I would agree with SeB that Moses is the better player, though it is unfair to compare the two; considering they are two very different players. Potential notwithstanding.

Not to mention the fact that Al Qaeda isn't even that strong anymore. Well in comparison to a decade or two ago. The ends do not justify the means with these predator drones. What is the point of their existence is they attack both military enemies and civillians? Shouldn't the protection of civillains be prioritised over the elimination of foe?

No wonder you like cricket. You are genetically predisposed to love it!

Australia was so bloody good in that period. So many fantastic players, truly the first 'Galacticos' team in International cricket. Shane Warne The Waugh Brothers Jason Gillespie David Boon Brett Lee Adam Gilchrist Allan Border Ian Healy Merv Hughes Glenn McGragh Ricky Ponting Matthew Hayden That is just off the top of my head. It gives me a warm feeling that list.
