I'll be in Chicago (well the burbs) for Christmas. We should meet up sometime or something.

Interested in other sports? Hockey? Basketball? Baseball? The only North American sport I enoy is Ice Hockey. Hopefully going to a Blackhawks game this season (even if the tickets are daylight robbery).

Amels is listed as banned because Jason is eccentric.

I think I could drink that.

You have to realise that my calling someone a 'cunt' is not a new occurence. This is a trait that has carried over for a long time. It's not a side-effect or byproduct of my status as a staff member.

Sometimes, I sit at my desk, read posts and think to myself: "Some users take this website far too seriously". I know it's easy to be caught up in the emotion sometimes but to really get wound up over text on forum is a bit much.

You'd be surprised by what we let slide. Please don't take digs at us like this, I hope you do realise we do this for no reason other than trying to keep this website in good condition. The moment we get the 'Admin' or 'Mod' badge beneath our name we are treated differently held to a very different standard to everyone else. It's a bullseye on your back. You have to realise we are human beings that are simply volunteering our time to a forum that we enjoy. I used to post a lot on this forum and had many friends but this has seemingly all gone away with a purple badge. I avoid posting my opinion a lot of the time to avoid situations were I am accused of being biased and unfair. No that is not true in the slightest. Having a different opinion will not warrant any sort of action from me unless of course it is very offensive in nature. Not a single user on this forum has been banned for reasons of having different opinions. We do not control what the members of this forum like to post in, so I don't see why you are so upset about people posting in the threads they want to. The Pub was always popular by the way. Why take it personally? I can't speak for other members of the staff but I for one am still a human being that is affected by emotions. I'm not a single-minded robot focused on keeping order, nor am I paid professional, so I don't see why the word 'professional' has anything to do with this. I'm just a young man that in his spare time tries to moderate the content of a large internet forum.

Can't believe Sandro joined QPR

HE ISN'T AN EX-BLUE THOUGH FFS

I wouldn't. Imagine the arseholes: "Chelsea ruin strikers".

I'm talking about technique though you thick bastard. Confidence doesn't make technique suddenly better. For instance I'm a fairly confident guy but can't do an elastico with my left foot and more confidence isn't going to fix that. That's what I'm trying to convey. Confidence will improve composure and all that but I ain't talking about all that.

Many players come to the PL and don't struggle. Many players move within PL clubs and do struggle. And vice versa. It is a pointless statement to make because it means nothing. Success in one instant does not in whatever shape or form gaurantee success in another. Prove to me that is's easier for a player to be a success at a different club in the same leauge without using anecdotal evidence.
-
I don't believe confidence has anything to do with his finishing. His technique is bust, he is incapable of scoring the goals he used to. If he were more composed he would score more of the easier goals but I refuse to believe that he would be capable of this or this or this

Gignac is overweight, doesn't have a right foot and is lazy. There is a reason 'Un big mac pour Gignac' is a saying. 'EPL proven' is one of the most cringe-worthy idioms in world football. Not every player has to be incredible.

Yes. Don't believe a single word of people saying otherwise. He will not regain a single iota of the ability he had at Liverpool. He may do well at Milan, I don't know but do not for a single second believe you will get the Torres of old. It's more than a loss of confidence, that is a foolish statement to make. He quite simply is not physically capable of doing what he used to. He is as bad as Pazzini albeit not as infuriatingly lazy. His pace is gone. His finishing is atrocious now. He simply can not score goals like he used to. His goals were more than pace, he had an amazing shooting technique and scored some beautiful goals. He just can't do that anymore. His dribbling is poor. His passing is average. His decision making is rotten. His first touch is decent. There is a chance he will succeed at Milan but keep your fingers crossed and pray to the ghost of Gunnar Nordahl.

I wish I were living in Monaco.
-
Well I can see you can pontificate.
-
I like to mix it up sometimes. I have a large vocabulary so I may as well use when I get the chance.
-
It is just a typo of facetious.
-
I was being faceticious.
-
If it results in Torres leaving it is.
-
This is gay. Spike out.

I dedicate this to you:
