Does anyone else think its possible we land neymar and sanchez this transfer window? It would total 90 mil, but factor in resale value and jersey sales and the fact you wouldnt have to blow a cent for the next 5 years on wingers or secondary strickers(assuming we keep strurridge. I mean you might argue than we dont have money to buy a creative mid, but let us be reminded our owner made +45 mil last year to his personnal wealth(that factors in money he poured in chelsea) so he is not going broke, and lets not forget we have josh mceachran and we could search for a slighty cheaper creative mid option, but even at that if we add modric to the list he would be around 35 mil, so we are at 125 mil spent, and with a few players leaving. possibly we sell 20 mil. so 105 mil out on players(I havent including a rb into these equation but ignore that for now). 105 mil isn't a crazy amount spent for those 3 players. Given how important wingers are to avb's system and our lust for better football I dont see the finances as an obstacle to this dream scenario abra would certainly finance. The only problem is actually landing these players oppose to city barca or rm getting these guys. Us chelsea fans have been skeptical about all transfers given our history of having players snub us at last second etc.. but with avb who speaks all major soccer languages and player liked, worldwide popular, it seems players want to play for him so the avb factor may actualy finally get us to land our first choice targets. So after all that blah blah blah, does anyone think that dream scenario is that far fetched?

He speaks 5 languages, I think we should be speaking about this a bit more. I think its absolutely huge he does for very obvious reasons and some more implicit.

It could be, its possible the deal has been done for a while and his "agent" was slipped some money under the table to tweet an astronomical price for neymar to discourage anyone from coming in to hijack bid etc... Wouldn't put it past abramovic, remember he is one of the greatest buisness men to ever live , he knows the tricks of the trades.

All of which are normal things for agents and players to say. Usually when a player says the opposite and says he wants to leave, sometimes(not always) its them trying to raise their value to get resigned where they currently are or trying to get a contract restructure(aka more money). As for sanchez I would welcome him with warm hands, but I have some faith in our scouts and if we don't bid for him considering we need help in that position its most likely cause they saw something they didnt like about him and/or combined with that they have someone else in mind who they would think would flip the bill better, Perhaps if they do have a future oriented look at chelsea now they are thinking of lucas(sao palo guy) in a year or two who can play on the wing and on the right. Neymar on left and Lucas on Right, two players who can blow by players and creative as hell feeding Lukaku who would be unmovable in the box; That would be something for the ages.

Hello my name is Jason, im from montreal and currently studying electrical engineering at concordia university(better than mcgill in enginnering and buisness ). New to the forum but have followed it for sometime. Asides from studying engineering, I "study" chelsea and spend countless hours on youtube and reading blogs about players, I feel like a chelsea scout at times and I avidly try to promote Chelsea in montreal( and there are fans here and growing). I am for neymar coming to chelsea(who isnt anymore) and I also would take pastore over anyone in midfield, i think he could do wonders with josh and I also think given hiddicks age he only has 2-3 years left of club football managing if he does come and that would be perfect given that by that time mourhino or pep or villa could possibly be avabliable at that time! Indifferent on Lukaku, I speak french so I am able to read alot of stuff about him that comes out of belgium and I can't justify much excitement!
