if that buy back clause is true its does look like good business unless of course we turn him into a key player and barca come back 2 years time and take him away for 8 mill. henrique, this is completely off topic but while ive got you here, whats the deal with piazon? I was listening to a south american football correspondant talking the other day and he was saying that noone there could understand why we have signed him. Apparently even the under 17's coach cant understand why we signed him as he thinks none of that crop of young players are particularly stand out! Whats your view on him? how many times does it need to be said. . . Torres did not dictate his price, he is a victim of circumstance in that respect. I dont personaly think any player in the world is worth 50 million, especially when most are in economic downfall but football shouldnt be looked at like real life. The guy has not even played 6 months yet and people on here are busting to get tore into him. Lots of players go thru less than impressive spells but the difference is most probably still get the support of their so called fans. I will be 100% behind torres as i dont believe you become a bad player overnight. The guy is gonna get dogs abuse from journos, tv pundits, other supporters and everyone else anytime he doesnt score so lets not be the first to jump on his back before the season has even started and instead just give him the support we should give all our players ( yes even mikel from me )

there is no quote! Of course i realise that avb needs to have a look at what he has and im not saying he shouldnt do that or make panic buys. What i am saying is that im pretty sure that he knows where needs strengthening and im also fairly sure he has targets in mind, the fella is renowned for how meticulous he is in his work, all im saying is make the signings sooner rather than later.

talk about putting words in my mouth! When did i say i wanted the club to sign players without the managers approval, have a read back and tell me where that is! I actually said a few posts back that it should be the managers choice.
