Super Frank is a legend and always will be for me. Im not getting too carried away with all the behind the scenes speculation because as always no one knows what has gone on except for the occasional quote which is accompanied by mass amounts of speculative newspaper columns. To say that SFL aint tried this season or was giving less than 100% is not fair to the guy, i mean he is still our top goalscorer this season. I think more realistic is that Franky is just having the years catch up on him and add to that, that this is a fella who has played almost every game for years now and im sure the break in continuous game time is taking effect on him . Either way i dont honestly believe that he would ever purposely try and hinder this club
-
Fella you made these exact points on the match thread. No need for your own thread as well

Im not happy with another managerial sacking, Im not happy with how weve been playing recently, Im not happy that we will be seeking another new manager in the summer, Im not happy that there is now a doubt about our senior players and legends work rate for the club recently. Im not happy about a lot of things but Im always ALWAYS happy when we score and win. COME ON
-
I said it when we signed him and he was getting shit for being 'only a Bolton player', I think he will surprise a lot of people and personally think him and JT look more solid than JT and Davy Lou (who i think will now jump to Barca the first bid they make). Good lad with a great work rate and not a bad attacking sense about him.

because that performance against the majority of teams wouldnt result in 3 points. 3 points IS the most important thing but we should expect much more from our team in playing terms but as i say its hard to guage a game like this when Stoke for the most part park themselves in their box
-
Think he was resting him for Wed
-
Far from good but a win is a win and thats 2 on the trot for bobbys boys. Can never tell much from a game like that because stoke are interested only in a bus parking exercise. There needs to come a time soon as well when the over excessive pushing and holding in the box will be punished because it was ridiculous today. Gonna need to be much better on Wed night if we are to beat Napoli.
-
Can see this being a draw. Bus parking galore from stoke.
-
Not a great deal of creativity there( is there ever tho) fingers crossed

BluesChronicle @ H&F Council has issued a strong statement in-favour of Chelsea remaining at Stamford Bridge & saying an extension in capacity is possible.

such a loss,gutted

Was gonna say your a day early but your just getting this party started early, happy days. KTBFFH HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELS

He's exhausted my patience big time. He does try for the team most times and he doesnt get good service up front but then none of them do. Problem is he leads our line and he doesnt look like scoring, doesn't create much for himself, makes bad choices consistently, doesnt take penalties, is no threat from corners and doesnt take free kicks. If you were drawing up a list of strikers and someone said we've got a fella with all the above issues but he tries, you wouldnt touch him. I'll be very sad to see him go but thats where this is heading miserably.

The fact that they even considered this shows the lack of an authoritarian at the club. -
Torres should not start this game. It's time danny or lukaku get their chance, they could do no worse. More hopeful for this match but still cautiously calm

I hate Roy keane, despise him but he is right. I said it on here a few weeks ago when the videos of the lads doing all this in training were posted. If they trained half as hard as they fuck about maybe our position in the league would be much better. -
Dan levene wrote a piece in the fulham chronicle saying that the anti benitez chants were duely noted by buck and gourlay last night.
-
Loved the banner

Time is well and truely up for torres. Sad to say it but my patients have well and truely expired with him. Its time studger or lukaku got a chance because between torres and drogs it ain't happening. Thought we played a good solid performance last night, nothing to write home about but still some good grafting. Thought Mata and rambo were great and couldnt complain too much about most of the others. Big Ivan is worlds apart from bos at RB and should easily remain there the rest of the season. Think bobby Di said all the right things last night in his interview too, especially saying how important frank was for the team but that he wanted to give him a rest and freshen things up ( take note Andre, that's diplomacy ). The chanting for Jose was to be expected as much as tge anti Rafa chants( lovely ) and the humorous if not slightly depressing Roman abromovich he sacks who he wants did get a laugh from me. But it was good to here RDM getting the support too, legend.Di matteos blue and white army Ps what about JT back 5 weeks early....machine
-
your correct it would mask an ugly season but bar that I hope we win it cause I fucking love the FA Cup. It's a super cup to win and I love it when we have.
-
Fail to see what miracles people think bobby di can produce in 2 days. If we go out with a wonderful performance tonight I'm not sure it doesn't reflect badly on the players more than it bodes well for bobby. All the same 100% behind RDM, always thought west brom played decent football under him and Eddie so fingers crossed. Win or lose up the blues, ktbffh

According to some sources avb left cobham in tears as most of the players didn't bother to say goodbye....grim if true. The guy at least deserved a good luck and goodbye.
