Yeah, but what type of tackle is Wenger refering to?On the other hand, let's not go there
-
Typical Greg. All the time you've been here and you still need the talkchelsea sat nav Only joshing fella
-
Really??.I would have alot more stronger words to describe Eboue,b,b,b,b but this is a family forum afterall and i would'nt want to be accused of inciting racial hatred.Or is it called racialist nowadays?

There's also the NCP Car Park(Seagrave Road) five minutes walk from the ground, which the Earls Court Exebition goers also use, which also has reasonable rates. Don't even think of parking around SB,it's mostly residential parking only.

I was at that game at the Loft in 95,a rainy January Monday night if i remember rightly.Chelsea took over their manor that day, especially The Bush Ranger and Springbok boozers.A bit of an earlier memory of games against QPR is Wisey's overhead kick at the Loft.LARVE IT Less said though about Dixon's penalty miss(circa early 90's) and THAT 6-0 in the 1980's.
-
Ha ha.STEV30 did have me worried for a minute
-
Yup,you do recall corrcectly.I ain't a million miles away from 'The Bush' and alot of my work pals are Rangers fans(Season ticket holders) and can't stop banging on about the game tomorrow.QPR have signed SIX players this week alone,so they really do mean buisness i guess. And their fans will be at SB in droves, alot have tickets in the Chelsea parts of the ground. The general consensus among the fans i know is that they're hoping for a draw and to bring us back to their manor in ten days time. I still think we'll be slightly too strong for them, despite our injury list.

It will be a massive blow if Terry is ruled out for the season, but the show must go on,and losing sleep over it certainly is'nt the way.

Without meaning to sound like a stuck record,i don't have Chelsea TV but have heard that when Barnett hosts that phone-in thingy he has a habit of cutting off callers who want to be controversial or disagree with him on club related issues. Gate 16 and Cara are also spot-on about Barnett being an irritating cunt when he does the Stadium announcements at home games, especially when he introduces the team,as if he's at Ceasers Palace Sort of akin to the embarrassing uncle at a wedding reception
-
The QPR fans did'nt like Sahar anyway. So doubt he'll be heading back there anytime soon. Racist cnuts
-
Bit harsh, don't you think? In that case delete Badboy's posts when he aims defomating posts about England or about Lampard's weight  You're taking your authority too far and too seriously fella
-
I don't mean to play devil's advocate but has anyone noticed that Ballack's past couple of games he's playing better. The irony being that Lampard has been unavailable. Last season was evident that they just could'nt play together in the same team and Ballack is used to playing in teams that are built around him.I would agree that Ballack is better at set-pieces than Frank.Frank seems more committed, and we can't knock Frank for what he's done for us. I'm going to take the tounge in cheek approach and say that i'd never back a kraut over an Englishman,so Lampard just edges it,even though he played for West Ham .

i heard on talksport the other day how Avram Grant revealed that he broke a chair at half time in a fit of rage on our first half performance. Yeah right Avram.Be honest, you broke the fucking chair by sitting on it
-
Yup,certainly can't underestimate them as their past couple of results have been good, and they are now OFFICIALLY the richest club in the world and they're close to getting Del Piero(apparantley),or is it really Del Monte, for their half time refreshment. I can see Sinclair scoring to knock them out, then he re-joins them on loan later this Month. 2-0 Chelsea. PS:When are our African lads heading off?
-
Well, well.Neil Barnett, you snake in the grass. All the money he's on and he goes and shows disloyalty and making waves. Get rid of the tosser. Thanks Gate 16,i would never of known
-
Poor first half, shit passing and the same old errors crept in.Alot better in the second half,Ballack ran the midfield in a Man-of-the-match performance.Whether he should edge out Lampard when he returns to fitness remains to be seen as Lampard is still vital to us.Good goal from Kalou to equalise, and from there i knew we were going to win the game. hopefully a few sensible signings in this months transfer window and we should have a reasonable 2008. Btw,what was the altercation between Avram and the Fulham mascott all about? My money was on the mascott. It was'nt changingman in disguise by any chance?

I'm sure you've said this already.

I was there yesterday, certainly not for Grant and a big smile appeared on my face when the fans turned against him.And it was'nt just a few fans, believe me.Grant should be shitting himself right now. -

The Matthew Harding faithful answered your call CM.For a minuite i thought you were at the game -
Not a convincing performance yesterday, how we won,god only knows. The media are today slamming Mike Riley for allowing Kalou's goal.Yes,it was offside but if the boot was on the other foot would they make such hooh hah over it?.And are Newcastle going to face punishment for their players barracking Mike Riley and the linesman for allowing Kalou's goal?.I seriously doubt it Hilario done ok,pulled off some good saves but another defensive error led to their goal and from there i really thought they were going to go on to win the game. Grant is losing the plot very quickly, and to think Roman is about to trust Grant with his money as we enter the transfer window is very scary indeed.

Grant got it off the fans big time, especially from the Matthew Harding and The Shed  .Though the Mourinho chants were a bit dramatised. The first time the fans have collectively turned against 'The Gormless One'.I would take that as a very stark warning. Stupid, clueless substitutions that he got away with this time. -
I don't mean to be a party pooper or the face of misery but i'm just stating facts. The worse is yet to come.Let's see how Grant copes with the bare bones of our squad.Let's see his managerial skills now that he's playing players through no choice.Let's see how he implements a defence tomorrow that has probably not played together yet. With the barcodes visiting SB tomorrow,we have blind man walking v dead man walking
-
Grant must be the only one defending Ricky.Even Ricky himself knows it was wrong to do that challenge and lack of dicipline is the main factor.Another example of Grant undoing that fine, well oiled defence of our's.A defence that once had direction, organisation and dicipline. Hopefully Cashley is successful in his appeal as his sending off was a pure joke.

Okies, after watching the highlights of this game, here's my take on things. 4-4 is only deemed 'entertaining' if you're a neutral or the hyperactive anorak kind of Chelsea fan. In a nutshell we defended very badly, had no organisation and if it was'nt for the referee giving us a penalty that many refs would not of given,we would of faced our first league defeat at home in nearly four years. Special praise has to go to Shevchenko, without a doubt Chelsea's MOM,but judging by the other players performances i doubt he'd be racing with open arms to claim my award and it remains to be seen whether Sheva can continue this form in Drogba's absence. Our defensive frailties are there for all to see, something i warned about on Monday(re:Blackburn (A) In just four Months Avram has managed to undo two feats that Jose maintained in three years 1:losing to Arsenal 2:conceeding FOUR goals at home I'll bet anyone on this forum my Months wages against their's that our unbeaten home record will end soon. With a defence in tatters,a class goalkeeper that is rapidly losing confidence and a clueless manager it's bound to. To think that we might have this buphoon(Grant) for the next four years really makes me cringe.
