That's wrong.Why get rewarded for faliure? Surely the parachute payments should go to the promoted clubs from the Championship eg Bristol City,West Brom,Watford etc.Like that it would help them prosper in the premiership,thus the possibility of avoiding more situations like Derby are in,as Ollie said is an embarrassment.

I think you'll find that the gloryhunters and 'nouveaux riche' of Chelsea fans started in 1990 when Thatcher(hope she dies soon) made football fashionable after Hillsborough by introducing all seater stadiums and CCTV inside grounds to combat the hooligans.Football then became a buisness,rather than a sport as it should be with the introduction of The Premiership funded by another money grabbing ponce,Rupert Murdoch Before the 1990's,a middleclass hooray would'nt touch Chelsea football club with a barge pole as Chelsea has always been a 'working man's club'.Now we have the middleclass Chelsea fan everywhere.Cunts that don't know the first thing about football,they too are the cunts that are ruining the club.Also the tourists that One Bar mentioned,who stuff their faces in poncy restaraunts,rather than mingling with the real working class Chelsea fan in the Pubs on the Fulham and King's roads. There was a few Olympiakos fans in front of me in the MHL,must of been the smell of Moussaka that gave it away. They behaved themselves though,so no harm done
