  1. The team performed badly as a whole, but still when analyzing the goals we conceded it came down to mistakes from a couple players.
  2. I'm pretty sure he won't do a Torres because we have a lot of creative players that can get the ball to him. He's also a far better finisher than Torres, doesn't hesitate in the box, good in the air, damn!! It's all about how he starts though, those first couple games when Torres couldn't score killed him - and he started over thinking things.
  3. Don't want to get too excited, but my word, he'd make us instant title challengers. That's how much of a difference a world class striker makes.
  4. The whole team played badly because before we could even settle into the game we were already down by 2 goals. Then we had to attack more (and Atletico could just sit back) which opened up more spaces for them to counter. Now who to blame for the first 2 goals? i'd obviously start with Mikel, Ramires and Lampard for not doing enough to prevent passes going to Falcao* This was the aspect we did ever so well against Newcastle - with Lampard and Ramires on the bench. And i know how well both played last season and how good they are, but they were very poor on Friday and deserve to be criticized. And also Ivanovic, who just couldn't stop anyone. *In contrast, look at how the Atletico midfield did to stop Mata and Hazard having a lot of space to make things happen.
  5. Yeh he wasn't brilliant when he came on, but he made up for it - for me at least - with his performance against Atletico. He was our best player after he came on, he showed that he cared even though we were down by 3 goals. And on criticism, i criticize anyone that doesn't play well, and i'm sure it's the case with most on here. But Kojo for example criticizes Mikel no matter what Lampard has been bashed a lot lately because we haven't been defending well and it starts from the midfielders allowing people to have free runs at our defence, and not putting enough pressure on the opposition.
  6. Different scenarios. Oscar can play in midfield and also further forward, don't foresee any potential killing with him.
  7. Oscar should start, and would also like to see a different partnership in the double pivot. Expect Torres to score 1 or 2.
  8. LMAO at Liverpool's bench. That's easily the worst set of subs i have ever seen.
  9. Very injury prone though, he's alright but no one will buy him.
  10. What the fuck, when did Diaby turn to Yaya Toure jnr? impressive performance tbf.
  11. Hope the Liverpool v Arse game ends in a draw. I'm not sure he was even watching the game yesterday because Norwich had 5 great chances before Spurs scored, then they equalized and had another great chance to win it lol.
  12. He didn't help himself with the comments he made over the summer.
  13. West Brom on the other hand have started brilliantly 7 points against Liverpool, Spurs and Everton - not sure even the most optimistic Albion fan would have predicted that.
  14. Right, but when it's Chelsea and the opposition are controlling the game, you get people talking like we are the worst team in the league. But the same happened to Man utd against Fulham and today with City.
  15. They're still good going forward but very suspect defensively, and have conceded in every game they have played so far this season. The ref helped them win that day, soft penalty and a soft red card - and we still could have gotten a point.
  16. Very lucky. QPR did very well the last 20 mins, deserved to get a point. Hopefully they don't play as well against us
  17. Watching City, it's obvious we're not the only club with problems - it's been been all QPR for last 15 minutes, City can't keep the ball atm.
  18. Lmao Norwich were by far the better side, Spurs were lucky to score, should have lost this game.
