I'm not surprised by that, when he played in bits last season you could see the talents he had, like that run against Norwich for example - did something similar in his first game for WBA. If he can just work on his first touch then he can have a bright future here, he's already a more than decent finisher.
I don't think Luiz dived, he got up limping and never asked for a pen. Remember he had picked up a knock way prior to that and got subbed off due to injury.
Weird that there's almost nothing in the media about Lampard not starting or even playing today, normally if he doesn't play it's such a big deal lol. And in such a big game too.
Actually yes, this was one of his best games in terms of holding the ball up and winning headers etc, Moses should have done better late in the game when Torres headed the ball to him in Drogba-esque fashion.
He's missed great chances in 3 games now. "Small sample size" sorry, but no one waits 25 games to make an assessment. Especially considering 2 of those misses have cost Arsenal 4 points already.
I feel sorry for Giroud actually, it can't be a good situation to be in, and the more he misses, the more the media will get on his back and his confidence will be fucked. Happy he "rejected" us though
At first i dismissed this, but since that day, he's left Lampard on the bench twice, played Ramires in the double pivot 3 times and started with Mata, Oscar and Hazard twice. Surely that visit from Roman played a part in this.
His work-rate was great, but last season he had games like that and didn't score and got slated. But today he did the most important thing and put the ball in the net, well done to him.
