  1. True lol. Anyway didn't FIFA say they will be introducing some sort of technology at the CWC?
  2. Yes, they will both serve their 1 game bans in this one.
  3. Exactly this. It shouldn't take up to a freaking minute, and doesn't necessarily cost a lot. Just have 1 more official and put him upstairs instead of behind the goal where he doesn't even do anything anyway. Getting decisions right is more important, but the concern of many people against technology is the delays, so finding an option that shouldn't take too much time is more appealing.
  4. They do that also in the NFL, but the problem is it takes time and stops the flow of the game like Rmpr was saying.
  5. Having another official upstairs viewing the game on live tv and able to communicate with the referee. It shouldn't take more than 1 minute really. Like for the Hernandez offside goal, we all saw it was offside 10 seconds after and the ref could have easily just chalked it off.
  6. LOOL i hope he's found guilty, biased cunt.
  7. Worst that can happen is he will not get a PL game for a week or two.
  8. Proud of the performance after falling down by 2 goals, United defended with 11 men for the majority of the game and we still scored twice. Not to mention De Gea pulling off great saves on Luiz, Torres and Mata. The referee had a shocker but that's to be expected when you play Man utd. Like i said to KieranVogel a couple days ago, i'm always worried when we play them - they always get a lucky call, always, no exception.
  9. Such a long wait, let the game start already!!
  10. Great read, always wondered what his celebration meant.
  11. City have been so bad, 1 shot on target at home against Swansea?! For sure they will nick something like fucking Arsenal though.
  12. Luiz is a good defender, but he makes more mistakes than anyone other than Terry. And Terry's mistakes are mostly because he's too slow. Cahill is not flashy, can't score freekicks etc but he's reliable and that is all you need from your defender.
  13. You just said they both make errors, so why is Luiz first choice over Cahill? no reason. JT is our best defender when we aren't playing a speedy forward, then i'd take Cahill next over Luiz and his annoying long balls.
  14. What other option does he have with Lampard out injured?
  15. They would probably just create a new channel people will have to pay extra for Anyway i've always preferred ESPN, shame they lost CL and now will also lose PL football.
  16. Cech made 70 apps for Rennes (wiki) enough to judge how good a keeper he is. It is also not strange to see keepers move from smaller teams to much better/bigger clubs and get games, more recent examples are Lindegaard or Courtois. While Sturridge played 12 games for Bolton, and tbf i didn't have time to watch like 8 of those games, but the few i saw he did not play as a lone striker like he'd be asked to do here. His positioning is alright, his finishing decent and pace great, but there's more to it than that. In the 1 game he started as main striker for Chelsea against Blackburn he had a tough time shaking off Samba and Torres was brought in at half time if i remember correctly. People who expect him to just step in and instantly shine could very well be wrong, but we will all see... eventually.
  17. He is as main striker. He did well for half a season as a winger, and did well at Bolton alongside Kevin Davies and Elmander pretty much beside them. And like i've said over and over, we are just what? 8 games into the league season, and Sturridge is the only other option we have to Torres so he will start games, and more than in just cup games or whatever. Then we will all see how capable he is at the position.
  18. Actually had me fooled for about 3 seconds lol.
  19. Nice long post, but you said Torres doesn't have any assist this season? i'm not sure that's right but even if it is, he had shitloads last season and it didn't matter to anyone. So why does it matter now?
  20. Lampard is out for a few weeks, RDM said in his presser. And Marin might be in the squad.
  21. Statistics do not matter here, almost anyone that watched the game knows who the better side was, and who deserved to win. And the answer was Chelsea, if Spurs were at the Bridge with that team they would not have 26 shots, no way in hell. We were more compact at Arsenal, they did not have so many oppurtunities in our area like Spurs did, then again we had John Terry who cleared almost anything that came into our area. Arsenal only out shot us because of long rangers i can bet. Also can you tell me a couple top teams that attack and defend at the same high level? i've been going through names in my head and can't come up with many. A lot of teams are really bad defensively
  22. We were also away in both games and went to attack not defend. You can't expect to play the type of football we have been playing and also have the defensive solidity of last season, you have to choose one, and we've chosen the former. And fyi we did dominate Spurs, they only consistently threatened for 15 minutes and on set pieces. You just need to watch when teams like BVB, Real Madrid, Man city play - top teams that use this same formation - they're not exactly great defensively, but they sure create many chances and score lots of goals. Even fucking Barcelona can't defend lol.
