Physical injuries are one story but mental "injuries" are a way more serious one. There's been rumours that Wilshere had burnout after that long season, and I just hope Mata doesn't have to deal with it if we continue to play him week in, week out.

As Malouda and Kakuta are still with us I'm gonna include them in my plans. Surely we'll see Ramires playing as a CM or CDM this season but Robbie seems to love him on the right wing. Marin is injured but he still will want to get playing time when he's fit. Piazon is far from being ready for the first team so I wouldn't consider him an option this season. I can't name you any names, sry. As I said before, a big body with a good header and a decent finishing ability would be perfect IMO.

We've already got Mata, Hazard, Marin, Ramires, Oscar, Moses, Malouda and Kakuta (plus even Sturridge if he has to) who can play on the wings. So do we really need another player for one of those 2 wings?! No. Whereas we just have 2 strikers, so we're just 1 injury and 1 suspension away from being left with no other real strikers.

That's the problem: Finding a striker who meets the criteria. Is Schürrle the answer? No, I don't think so. He's about to become a starter for Germany so he needs regular playing time. I doubt he'll want to be our 3rd choice striker and rot on the bench.

If we are going to sign a new striker it has to be an out-and-out striker, not a player who's "comfortable playing upfront". We need someone whose qualities will be complementary to the skills of Torres and Sturridge, so he would have to offer us a good aerial game and strenght which we basically lack right now.

Same here. Got only 2 weeks till hell opens its doors again and I absolutely don't know how I'm gonna manage that. I've been trying to fall asleep for 2 hours and I just can't. There's been nights during which I thought "Fuck sleep, you don't need it!" and 2 or 3 hours later I was sleeping. Then woke up about 4pm and could have kicked myself for that shit happening yet again.

Still reading "news" about him joining Chelsea this summer... but is there any logical explanation in signing him? We're deep right now in the attacking 3 positions so what's the point in buying him for about 45m?! If anything we should rather look for a 3rd choice striker with a good aerial game, a big body and a decent finishing ability. I know our biggest problem is still the double pivot but we're stacked there with too many average players and I doubt we can sell one of them till this transfer window ends, so it's better to fill at least the other gap. No, Pjanic is playing as a CM. He was a CAM at Lyon but ever since joining Roma he's mostly used in the central midfileder position where he's been playing for Bosnia too since I can remember.
