What does being American have to do with knowing soccer or this topic for that matter? My mate is a big Real Madrid fan and i have seen enough of Real Madrid games to know that Benzema can play on the wing especially in AVB system.

Why did Real want to get rid of Sneijder, Robben, VDV, Eto, i can go on and on but Madrid are infamous for selling good players. They want Aguero, because Benzema is not a true #9, only Higuian fills that duty. Neymar? typical Real Madrid moves, just stockpiling talents. Falcao? I seriously doubt they are interested since he is identical to Higuain.

He can play on wing, AVB likes inverted wingers. Torres likes to play as a lone striker, while Benzema is similar to CR7. Torres and Benzema are nothing a like, one of the reason why Madrid wants Aguero is because Benzema is not a #9 type striker.

Benzema on the left wing would be fantastic. Not sure about the news.

Second Striker or CAM is where Sanchez is most effective at, shown by his performance with Chile and Udinese.

TBH Sanchez is overrated for anything over 25m, the guy was nothing special for most of his a carrer at Udinese. His best performances came after January when he was moved to SS, he played well but so did most of the Udinese players especially Di Natale. He is a half of season wonder imo, i sincerely hope Chelsea don't buy him for the speculated 40m. We need a winger and Sanchez can play on the wing but he is most effective as a SS, so i am not sure if he is our answer.

Sanchez is more of a CAM/SS then a winger, playing him on the wing is kinda a waste.

Pique and Fabregas are Catalonians and they joined Barca at a very young age, Thiago joined the club when he was 15 and really does not have the same affection for the club. So there is a huge difference. We don't have to worry about that scenario.

IMO he is up there with Jack Wilshere as one of the best young MF in the world. With Thiago and McEachran we are set for the next ten years. I really hope Csec goes to Barca, because if Csec stays with Arsenal then Thiago is not going anywhere.

Sturridge can play on the right, watch the games he played for England U-21. I think he would've been even more effective if England actually had a Midfield. Here is what Frank Arnesen had to say about Sturridge: "We also told him he has the talent and capacity to play out wide because he is very quick, explosive and can dribble and take a man on. But he is a goalscorer and that is why I said probably it would be good for him to play on the right side because he can come in and shoot. 'Playing wide gives him more chance to play at the highest level.
