Coentrao is a utility player who can play anywhere on the left or right side of the pitch and he's 8x more technically superior and effective than all the duds we currently parade as wingers/wing forward.

Two of the youngest and brightest managers around who knows the club in and out. exciting times at the bridge. I would have preferred Zola as his assistant though but Roberto is still an amazing choice. It would be interesting to see how AVB deals with the potentially thorough and harsh scrutiny he's likely to face by the media and critics who believes age matters next season, I can't wait to see the reaction of haters when AVB becomes a tremendous success and a long term/permanent manager at the club

This guy would add the creativity and flair ,that we desperately need, to the team. And contrary to popular opinion on here I don't see why his arrival would threaten Ashley cole's career at Chelsea since he's predominantly a LW'r.. if anything, malouda and Zhirhov would be the players to make way. if Ashley eventually leaves, Bertrand should be his replacement imho. I believe he's ready.

Torres showed nothing last season to suggest that he would/might return to his best next season. if we want to base his resurgence next season on reputation and age then may I suggest Ronaldinho, kaka, Robinho,Ribery et al.I'm sure those names ring a bell. when I accurately predicted the decline of kaka and Adriano (inter) a couple of years back, some of my colleagues thought I had lost my mind. But for the sake of this great club, I hope Torres proves me wrong next season

I have to agree with justin here. The likes of Odewinge,Antonio Valencia, Van der vart were regarded as average players yet outperformed some of the established and highly rated players in the epl last season and the season before. If a player is technically gifted which is the case in this santos's context, proper guidance from a manager like AVB will ensure he flouirshes at Chelsea.

We obviously don't have a track record of developing world class players . Truth is fergie and Wenger have given young players more chances than all our managers under roman administration combined.
