  1. Why's kalas not in asia? is he also on U20 duties as well. he looked very promising against Portsmouth. . . .I can see him breaking into the first team in the future.
  2. @ justin. you must have a lot of time on your hands
  3. The list isn't needed when we have Malouda,Lampard and Bosingwa
  4. A number of sources claimed Roman was willing to provide the new manager with a £100m transfer kitty.
  5. I absolutely agree wiuth you but the question is, does AVB handle transfers differently from Roman and majority of the big clubs that rarely take "perceived gamble" hence constantly overlook the "unknown gems" waiting to explode ala chicharito? p.s Vidal has joined Juventus
  6. How is it not realistic if we buy a RB, a creative midfielder, 2 wingers and a back up striker coupled with some youth players like Betrand,Van Anholt,Sturidge and josh? we only have to buy four players in total which isn't unrealistic
  7. My use of the word overhaul in this context doesn't suggest to change the whole squad but to simply offload all the dead woods- Bosingwa,Ferreira,Kalou, anelka,Malouda,Zhirhov, relegate Lampard and Drogba to squad players and replace all the outgoing players with younger and more superior quality.
  8. I'm sure we will buy before the season commences but my only concern is the quality of players that would be available on the market when we are ready to negotiate deals and how much they would go for. . . . AVB should realise that the market activity wouldn't stand still and wait for him to make his move.
  9. I still can't see where the optimism is coming from tbh. Torres has been shit for the last 18 months and even struggles to score for the most creative national team on the planet. (Spain). so far he's shown absolutely no promising signs. I will gladly put my money on Demba ba to outscore Torres next season at odds of 3/1 or more.. . . that's how low my level of confidence in Torres is.
  10. @ justin you are absolutely spot on He was so shit that he was dropped to the bench for the WC final against the Netherland. A player that struggles to score in a team that has Xavi, Iniesta,Navas,David Silva,Fabregas,Alonso. . .(super creative players) is undoubtedly shit and hopeless
  11. Vidal gone. Sanchez gone. Aguero's move imminent and the number of available quality players will further decrease before the end of our asia tour. . . .AVB please take your time, you have all the time in the world.
  12. Spot on. That's why I believe he's more than capable of being our pirlo, a deep lying playmaker, if given the freedom
  13. 3 months of abysmal performance is not sufficient to judge a player on? people need to understand that Torres is not been judged for his lack of goals alone but more importantly his overall performance and contribution to the team.. . . his body language was off, first touch, movement on and off the ball, shooting and passing were of amateurish standards/piss poor and that's my problem with Torres. If he was doing every other thing right apart from scoring, majority of Torres critic would have been a lot lot more lenient on him.
  14. Why should he?. . . . isn't it obvious that Torres and Drogba can never form a formidable partnership
  15. While I agree that we do need to buy a right back as Bosingwa has deteriorated to the point of no return and Ivanovic lacks the technical ability and pace required for the position, VDW however is not the solution to our RB worries. . . . . . he's barely above average and way overpriced.
  16. AVB is starting to strike me as the "overly-optimistic" type .. . . .there's nothing wrong with being optimistic and beleiving in your ideas and system but that should be balanced out with some reality check. this squad needs major overhaul imho.. . especially in the midfield and attacking department.
  17. This is what happens when you don't move early in the transfer market. .. . at this rate, we might miss out on most of the availble quality signings and be forced to pursue the left overs
  18. The difference is as clear as daylight. . . . to add to that. Real madrid- C.Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema,Higuain Man utd- Chicharito,Rooney,Berbatov,Nani,Valencia Yet Lampard and other delusional folks thinks our current squad is competitive enough. smh
