Honestly, with the form of even their best attacking players their entire team looks dogshit. Bruno and Sancho look like shadows of their former selves and have for like a year now. Rashford looks Championship standard. But…..watch CR7 score a hat trick here 🤣

The ease with which the sides around us score goals compared with how much we struggle to just score a single 1 is the most concerning thing. City, Liverpool, and now Arse and Spuds all can score loads and from several different players each. I hope we look much improved in attack tomorrow.

He’s not slow. In fact one of his biggest assets is his pace and mobility, even after he returned from injury.

People here just ignoring all the positives of Fofana’s performance here due to 1 or 2 mistakes. Some of you already have in your heads that you don’t fancy him. 😒 He can’t possibly be 100% focused with all the speculation about his future.

How on earth did we not do everything possible to sign him when we’re so desperate for a striker? One who would fit our pressing ideas perfectly. He’s going to be brilliant for these cunts. 😡

Not even 10 mins into this game and Fofana has already nearly scored a brilliant goal and has made 3-4 great defensive challenges. We MUST sign him. He’s a monster already and will only get better.

If he chooses them over us it’s for several clear reasons. Playing under his former manager who is also Dutch, earning stratospheric wages that they’ll pay because they’re on their knees begging, and he walks straight into their first XI and is treated like their messiah since they’ve been crying about buying a top midfielder for years. To us Chelsea supporters it seems insane to choose the current United over us, but those things will clearly appeal to him.

So anything they say should be taken with a huge pinch of salt. Kova is injured already ffs 🤦‍♂️. Probably would’ve been our most important midfielder in a match against this Spuds team. Now it’ll be Jorginho having to deal with that lightning counter attacking.

It’s probably good for us if Kepa stays since we’d retain a quality #2, but surely if he has an ounce of ambition in his body he will be desperately pushing to find another club if Napoli choose Navas? Does he want to be in the Spain WC squad or is he perfectly fine riding our bench and earning huge wages?

Leicester almost literally briefing what we’ve known now for a couple of weeks. That it’ll take us breaking Slabhead’s transfer record to sign him. Rodgers and the ITK Leicester journalists have all made it clear. It’s gone from “not for sale” to “well, if a monster offer comes in our hands are forced.” I really hope we do it. He’s already a great player and will become one of the best in the world at Chelsea. Playing at least 1 season beside Thiago Silva will be hugely beneficial as well, especially since Silva speaks French. The price doesn’t even feel that crazy when Maguire went for £80m. Fofana is ten times the talent that he was and is only 21.

Barca have some of magical voodoo over these players. It’s just unbelievable. They get incessantly pressured to lower their salary (after already doing so a couple of years ago during the lockdowns) and when they don’t the fans and media smear them. And then after all that terrible treatment players STILL want to sign for them or re-up on drastically reduced terms. It’s mind boggling.

I think that’s why we are after De Jong. If we couldn’t improve our attack and playing style with a winger we’ll try to do so by reshaping our midfield with a more fluid player.

SMS is gettable as well.

If De Jong doesn’t happen I wonder if we go for someone else or just wait until next summer. If we’re willing to spend £70m+ on De Jong it’s clear Tuchel thinks it’s needed.
