I will defend El Nino. Dude has changed w/ this scoring drought. vs manure I saw him provide an excellent cross to Mata. Also the run from the inside to the flank provided space for Mata. That has count for something. Also that very unselfish play w/ El Nino to Bison. El Nino showed terrific technique to gather the ball, but instead of trying to find a path through the manure d, he setup a shot for Bison Essien that almost found the back of the net. Maybe El Nino should be considered an Attacking Midfielder instead as a lethal striker. I will continue to support him while he wears blue, even if he is a £50 million pound blunder.

I have a few things to add about this match. If you told be on Sat that CFC would draw 3-3, w/out the likes of Lamps, JT & Cole, I would gladly take it. Loved Mata & Side Show Bob goals. Best part of that 3rd goal was Side Show Bob telling Mata where to put the ball when Mata was lining up the free kick. Dude is such the chracther. BTW, who the fuck is Alan Smith??? That punk was so bias. You could tell clearly that he didn't want CFC to win. Also in the States the match was pumped up & it was like watching manure on Fox. Thank God CFC scored 3 goals...Freakin' Piers Morgan can kick rocks...I hate gooners as talkin' heads

agreed. I have always rated Sinclair. There are a lot of CFC fans that don't think he was ever Blue Material. I would like to wonder if he would be a Blue where his career would be right now. Same goes w/ Borini, but I guess you need to be playing for an International side to play w/ the Blues.

IMHO I believe the reason for JT not playing is due because of his first day in court. It will be on Weds. I do believe AVB has said as much.

Just a gut feeling on Brazilian players in general being better than their English Counter-parts. I think its something to do w/ all of the World Cups that the Brazilians have won & having better players than the English in general. Of course you can point to 1966, but for the most part Brazilian players are better than English players.

I like to go one further w/ your idea & play a 431[Mata]2. We are not using Mata to his full potential by playing him on a flank. Also Mata is two-footed. I think that would aid the attack immensely.

Nice graphic there. The only thing I question is the assists listed. I do believe both Torres & DD have more than what is listed. Hell, that Over-head Volley attempt by El Nino should be listed as an assist. W/out that effort hitting the crossbar Lamps would have not scored. Also in my IMHO Danny Boy is a bit more selfish than both El Nino & DD. I am not saying that is a bad thing for a striker, but Danny Boy is in form & his confidence level is high @ the moment. Capello would be stupid not the include Danny Boy on England's Roster this summer.
