JT for sacrificing his body to ensure the clean sheet. Honorable mentions go out to Danny Boy Sturridge for causing major problems to the barcode defense. Also a shout goes out to that magician name Juan Manuel Mata. Dude is just poetry in motion & to watch him perform is worth the price of admission for this match.

What should be our defence against Manchester City?

Cause Tomo started it -
Also Zola took better free kicks. Just curious, are people still insulted that Mata is compared w/ Zola??? Since I made that one post about the comparison of the two, I have seen more people making that same exact comparison. That includes Super Frankie Lampard, who had the unique situation where he was able to play w/ both Mata & Zola. I say one thing, Pastore is not as good as Mata. Glad we didn't sign him.

I do remember a couple of seasons ago Bos played on the left side & put Da Messiah into his pocket. I know, that was before he serious knee injury of last season. I have faith in Bos that he can do the business midweek over Los Che. -
Funny how everyone hates on Kalou, but he has scored more goals than both Sheva & Torres for Chelsea. True, Torres still has a chance to pass Kalou, but honestly do you think that will happen??? I don't.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Just saying if you want to praise Paulo Ferreira, at least spell his name correctly.
-
His name is Paulo Ferreira not Ferreria I know you weren't the first to misspell his name, but the fact of the matter it was driving me crazy.
-
Just wanted to showcase Seba Veron's goal. It could be his last as a player:

BTW, you are an American too. You just live in South America. No, you didn't get my point at all. Go on & believe that da messiah is better than Zindane. I can watch this footage & believe otherwise
-
Curious, has Messi ever scored on Brazil?? I know ZZ has & setup a game winner in another match. Just saying
-
Sorry, this shot is better: ps...I realize this is pre-Roman, but CFC did have game in the '90s.
-
here this video shows a run from his RB position to find the back of the net against dirty spuds I have seen many of his exploits, but you need to watch some Classic CFC matches. It's wasn't that long ago when he played for the Blues.
-
Are you speaking to the fact that most fans voted for Supa Dan Petrescu over Ferreira??? Maybe it's because Supa Dan Petrescu was all that & a bag of chips. I hear that CFC fans still sing songs about Supa Dan at the Bridge (I can't tell you the truth, cause I never been there). Take a look at some of his highlights:

One thing we can praise DD is that he never got into trouble off-field. Awesome job for all participants to give this kid something to enjoy for the rest of his life. -
I was about to say the same thing, but w/ Supa Dan there..He stole my vote
-
I loved that CFC side. Ok I admit, I liked Zenden & Petit. I think it was because they both had nice hair What about Supa Mario Stanić??? Also didn't Mr. Bates find Roman??? BTW, if you like this side, then get you a copy of Jimi Floyd's book. Good read & insight of the club, especially during this period.

Personally I don't want Supa Frank to Retire. I want Supa to become the #1 scorer for CFC's History. He can do it. Currently Supa is @ 177, which makes him 16 behind Kerry Dixon & 25 behind Tambling. After he passes Tambling, then Supa can retire. There is only one #8 & that is Supah Frankie Lampard BTW, you can refer to me as a Supa Fanboy, I won't get mad. Also I think we might see Supa representing England next summer in the Euros. UTC!!!

Mikel vs Blackburn: Vertical Passes from the "Horizontal Man"
robdog replied to CareFreeChronic's topic in Chelsea Articles
That's kewl. You can keep your opinion & I can keep mine. The video that I posted was some proof that the many articles that are on the net that shows what type of player Obi Wan is. I guess that is why we call this a discussion board & we can discuss this right??? We are discussing & IMHO Romeu has not surpassed Obi Wan now. Maybe in a year or two, but not at this moment in time. -

I don't if you read this article from The Chels a few of months back, but it talks about the some same topics you hit on. I like this vid to showcase some of Obi Wan Mikel's talents. Talents that we are so used in seeing, we think it's easy: -

LMAO. Hell I even seen some people post they would rather have Josh start over Supa Frank Some of the things our own fans say -
Another stat for you Supa Frank doubters, Supa Frank is the Highest Scoring Midfielder in the History of the EPL. Of course I am going by looking for midfielders at http://premiersoccerstats.com/epl.html#. Supa Frank now has 144. I don't see another midfielder ahead of him in the all time list.
-
FrancoZola, I see why you have that handle, you can carry The Blues to Victory!!! Thanks mate
-
I was hoping for the pict w/ Supa Frank doing the Hush sign to the opposing fans.
-
I am not sure if this is the right place or not, but there was a pict from a few years back when Lamps scored a goal & gestured to opposing fans w/ the hush sign sorta like this one: can someone direct me to that pict or post it for me pretty please???

Thanks for that explanation. Obi Wan Mikel IMHO is a rock in the midfield & at times can be an excellent shield for our defense. I know there are many hatas out there on Mikel, but I appreciate his calming influence in our middle.
