  1. What? But pacquioa said he has been good this season. What do you mean by "deservedly"
  2. Hahahhahahahahahahahaha... away match at stoke.. and we are playing proper 4 attackers rather than our "balance" giving CAM who has been "good" this season and that too after 2 "good" performaces against pool and kiev...hahhahahaha..Still waiting for your reply to my previous post though...
  3. But But but.. he has been so GOOD this season...
  4. Perfect line up... we are winning this
  5. Perfect line up.. can't compain one bit...
  6. the beard is the reason that jose fell in love with him in the first place.
  7. totally agree. dont see any other reason for actually sticking with iva and not giving baba a chance.
  8. muzchap!!!! such naivety from someone like you?
  9. have not seen BVB this season. but if gundo is anywhere near his pre-injury form, then costa hazard-willian-pedro gundo-matic would be a joy to watch come feb/march when all the players should reach their best.
  10. just realised that we would have more games than points if we lose this one. damn!!! please dont lose.
  11. we can hope and pray that, this does not happen. as bad as things are, january buys almost always are worse. torres, cuadrado, salah come to mind.
  12. fair enough. i just hope jose puts in "non-negotiable" positions. we need a proper CM, we need a world class CB (to be fair to jose, we were looking to purchase those 2 even in the last window). just tell the board to stop penny pinching for those 2 areas and get the needed target. obviously, a lot will depend on whether we get CL or not (since i dont think jan is ever a good time to buy)
  13. we already have traore and kenedy as AMs. brown would be overkill, imo. solanke can be our 3rd striker, kenedy and traore our AMs behind willian, hazard, pedro, RLC and baker/pasalic as our 4th and 5th CM (behind matic , new CM and cesc). in defence, we already have zouma and baba, also we are looking to buy stones/marquinhos (or a young highly rated CB), along with azpi, GC and JT, such a defence would be a good mix of youth and experience.
  14. not really. we are talking about the first 11. but our loan army can definitely be given a proper chance next season. for eg, rambo and mikel can be replaced with pasalic/baker. christensen should be on loan and get all the play time before getting a proper crack at the first team. but we need a world class CB to replace JT. solanke as a 3rd striker? maybe. but we need someone like lacazette who can provide not just good cover for costa but actually challenge costa for teh first team spot.
  15. bought for 31mil euros. sold for 22 mil euros + 2mil loan fee. poor transfer 7mil euros loss, but nonetheless, decent work from the board to minimise the loss.
  16. lets be honest here, the only world class players we have are courtois and hazard. also, we do need an "overhaul". we need a starting LB (since jose does not trust baba enough to start him as a LB ahead of zouma as RB). we need a JT replacement. and when i say "JT-replacement" i mean the 14/15 JT, who was just brilliant. we need a proper CM to partner matic in the mid. rambo/mikel are decent bench/cup game options, but thats about it. cesc as a CM is absolutely catastrophic. and we need a 1st/2nd striker who can actually push costa to play and score rather than fight and dive. so basically, a couple of defenders, a CM and a striker is a must and atleast 3 out of those 4 are for the first team. so you can say its an "overhaul".
  17. his main test will be against stoke some massive decisions in team selection. iva will be available but baba deserves to start. the midfield merry-go-round will continue with no one except for willian deserves their spot. remy should start ahead of an out of form costa. some tough decisions to make but hopefully he can do that. the 2 international breaks before this and we lost to palace and soton. the break was disastorous as the media kept piling on. we need this win. as much for confidence as to turn things around. the team selection will play a massive massive part in it. lets see what jose does.
  18. willian and the fans - 2 reasons why jose is still here!!!
  19. its been 3 months since the season started. its been an year since we put in a good performance.
  20. I specifically describe the firat goal and the scenario in which it happened and yet you have to talk about the 2nd ans 3rd goal. Are u for real. Agaim, go and watch the neville analysis. Again, how did countinho score his first goal? Was it thru an attack down the left. But but but oscar did a job. he had milner in his "back pocket". he probably got pick pocketed and it ended up screwing us over, right? Hahahahha.. so after being proven that osvar was shit against stoke not by me but by other posters, he had a "decent game" hahahhagahaha.. pure comedy. do you want me to quote more people from this thread itself? "decent" my ass. Was willian and azpi poor against soton? NO. here we are talkinf about a player. Talk about him. How was he against soton. Horse shit. End of story. Also, oscar has been so good according to u. Willjan has been brilliant and even someone as delusional as u won't be able to deny that. According to u, costa has been brilliant in every match and yet we can score from open play. And yet u keep on complaining about costa not getting any service despite atleast 2 of our 3 AMs (oscar ane willian) having good seasons so far. Hahahahahhahahahahahahahaha... pure comedy
  21. did you watch thw first half. We dominated. We put in a lot of balls in the box only for costa to be absent. He did not need to come deep. Gp to the costa thread and for onve read and try to understand what so many people are saying about hos positioning instead of stayinf in your delusional world
  22. and yet milner and clyne kept on pissing on us. how surprising. can you tell me how pool scored their goal? was it through their attack on the left and the ball passed to coutinho from their left. watch the neville analysis and he gives 2 more instances of the same. brilliant tracking. and since he was played half a match as a LW and half a match as a CAM, i would expect there to be assists, through balls, key passes. oh wait, we are talking about oscar, so his "tackles and interceptions" are the most important thing of his game. oh wow!!! he took a shot, so he had a brilliant match. these are some of the comments after the stoke game http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14112-8-oscar/?p=1170315- " Did his best disappearing act in that second half.....not good enough. More useful than Fabregas though." http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14112-8-oscar/?p=1170318- " Why did he even bother getting out of bed?" http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14112-8-oscar/?p=1170410- " Was good in the first half, afterwards i don't know i didn't see him on the pitch, maybe he got substituted and i didn't notice." http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14112-8-oscar/?p=1170446- " Do people really think he is fit enough to lace Willian's boots? Like I said before, you take goals and asissts out, Willian is twice the player Oscar is. Only difference now is that Willian is improving on the stats statistics and his true quality is showing. Oscar needs to improve a lot. This is based on a lot of games, not just a few. Starting back from last season, he just is not offering enough and needs to improve." and i can go on and on.. no lack of comments on here. just go back to 28th october and read for yourself to jog your memory. but since he took a shot, he was far from "awful". embarassing indeed. so basically - newcastle - awful soton -awful villa - benched whu - benched pool - awful stoke - awful kiev -average at best the pre-season has really worked wonders for him, i can see that...
  23. those are meaningless stats. falling deep and passing the ball back is a successful pass - but for what? drifting on the wing despite us having proper width for once from azpi and baba- for what? he won us corners when he could have tried to take a shot on goal, but he was busy trying to do his "fake" thing. and then comes his positioning which was absolutely horrendous last night. so meaningless stats pretty much sums it up.
  24. he was out MOTM vs arsenal and then lets take a look newcastle - awful soton -awful villa - benched whu - benched pool - awful stoke - awful kiev -average at best. no creativity, poor passing, no vision, no link up play. if he was one of our best players then ramires was our MOTM ( ). he has had a season exactly like his other seasons where after one good performance, he goes AWOL in the next 5. and that was the point - his consistency. also, how well is that pre-season working for him?
  25. so you can acknowledge the fact that matic was not AWFUL. can you? the rating you posted also CLEARLY show that matic was one of our best players in those games and no where near awful. as for the palace game, can you tell me, who i voted for? know your facts mate. know your facts. but but but, costa is the 2nd best striker in the world, and oscar's poor form was due to pre-season
