salah is a chelsea RW, kalou was a chelsea RW, malouda was a chelsea LW. torres was our striker for 3 and a half years. mikel has been a chelsea player for what, 8 years now? not saying he is as bad as any of them, but his consistency is shocking and he has some massive massive limitations to his game. oscar's poor form and consistency has already cost us a title last year when by the end of the year he was simply hopeless. lets just pray for the sake of the club that it does not happen again.
-
was not oscar supposed to be the next big thing? or have they stopped drugging and experimenting on you.
-
kane with another one.
-
now i know who you are. thought u got banned. no point in discussing with someone that has such an @@@@opinion.
-
will be back when matic has a poor performance. probably next season.
-
he was not? so who won our POTY for 2011-12 and 2012-13? and literally carried the team for 2 years. BS.. well some people have selective memory.
-
so.... ummm.. maybe we should give him the mata treatment then??!!
-
it was a good performacne. specially in the second half. but saying he was one of our best players in the first is just unfair and wrong, if not prejudiced. specially since we were so poor defensively.
-
i think i told what all wrong he did today in the reply i gave to lucio.
-
dint embarass themselves = one of the best players? he had a poor half. the fact that they dint score is giving a different opinion to everyone.
-
first touches actually make us play good and create oppurtunities. infact a good first touch is the most important thing in football as far as i am corcerned. a poor first touch like oscar's today could have made us be 2/3-0 down and we could have been for a long long night. no one expects beautiful football week in and week out, but people do expect football. what oscar played in the first half was not football. it was pure shit!!! also, i dont get this argument. u do understand that he was the main reason why we were this poor today. he dint need to score and assist. if we had piled on the pressure by even simple passes we would have been in a better situation.
-
dude, i honestly dont know what game you were watching is you think oscar was not that bad. i mean just go the match thread and even after ignoring all my posts do see people's reaction on there. he was absolutely shocking. just start from here http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/19667-chelsea-v-newcastle/page-12 hazard was absolutely isolated. oscar and cesc are supposed to be the main link up men. both were poor. cant blame hazard for that. he looked dangerous everytime he got the ball. also, when does willian ever have a shot on goal? in all seriousness, i dont expect much from willian. but this individual performance from oscar has been one of the worst i have seen from any player in that first half. the goal and assist are doing nothing but putting a thin cover over a leaky wall. i remember atleast 2 or 3 oppurtunities that newcastle had to score simply cos oscar lost the ball cos of his first touch or poor pass and made us susceptible to a counter.
-
yes he was poor on the day. and i wont defend him for that game or the spurs game. but i also wont say (unlike others) that zouma was our best player in the first half when we could and probably should have been 2/3-0 down.
-
? really? one?
-
what? more than hazard? what game were u watching? hazard had a few touches of the ball in the first half and created an oppirtunity every time. he looked dangerous every time he got the ball. cesc had a terrible performance. but oscar was abysmall. absolutely horrible. he made that run cos he should be doing that. he is our no.10 and supposed to get in that position. as well as he is supposed to make our game. every time he touched the ball, it went to a newcastle player. the goal and the assist does nothing to cover how hopeless he was today.
-
why no MOTM poll. oscar all the way!!!
-
what? dont you know he scored and a goal and assisted one. that solves everything. i mean lets completely neglect that we should have been 2-0/3-0 down cos of his consistent ball conceding. or that we had no play mainly cos our no.10 forgot what playing football is, but according to some, thats all fine!!!
-
hahahahha... sure dude... just tell me whatever u are smoking!!! lookes nervous as hell. got owned by sissoko a couple of times. ball watching 3 metres away from JT when cabella was taking JT for a spin and dint provide cover. well...
-
well putting the ball in an almost empty net is suddenly "contributing" a lot. in that ways willian/iva should be the MOTM cos they took the quick corner to the goal. i mean we should forget that he sucked the whole match. gave the ball away in crucial situations. i mean hazard plays him a straight forward goal in a counter from our own corner and he ends up giving the ball away about 30 yards from our goal making us susceptible. but well, since he scored a tap in... we should let it all slide away. long live oscar. best no.10 ever.!!!
-
by your comments in the oscar and this thread, i can safely assume that you dint watch the game. or atleast the first half.
-
did you even watch the match?
-
the nightmare is finally over!!! bye bye oscar!!!
-
1-1 naismith!!!
-
the last month is evidence that every point counts. i would think city would be going all out for the goal and give lukaku the space to run at the defenders which is his strongest suit.
-
DIEGOAL!!! now lukaku.. please score a goal!!!
