a little harsh to say that the bad ones dwarf his good performances, but totally agree with the gist of it, his consistency in APPALLING. i think he actually got a massive life line yesterday. that first half performance minus the goal, would definitely have seen him subbed at HT. no chance that he would have started swansea then or city or even liverpool away league cup for that matter. would have been all downhill for him. lets just hope he makes good on his chance and helps the team in the process.
-
should have scored though. did everything perfectly except for scoring.
-
For 50mil he would be a steal. I mean even ADM went for 60mil last summer.
-
our first contract extension for the year went to romeu. How is an extension an indication of how good a player is performing? He is young, has a name in the footballing world and should be tied to a long contract. That's what we did.
-
Imo, we already have an option for the no.10 role - Cesc. He puts in a shift defensively, definitely bettee at controlling the pace of the game and providing incisive balls for goals. Oscar/willian can be rotated and shifted to the wing in case we buy a good Cm like pogba/vidal/martinez
-
very true. Seems like he is living in CR's shadow at the moment.
-
Adm was a jose buy in RM but jose was not after him this summer. Seems like we are the only club in the world that is actually taking FfP seriously. Realistically, buy a 40mil pogba/vidal or even a 20 mil javi martinez, shift cesc into his best position which is no. 10 and rotate willian/oscar on the wing. A 100 mil buy would be completely against everything the club has done recently. And then there is reus too.
-
thats pretty harsh. he is one of the best players in the world and imo, better than EH. his goalscoring prowess is something that EH surely lacks. as a dribbler, i doubt there is anyone on EH level. probably except messi, CR, robben.
-
our away form has been very poor. hope we actually turn up for this. a half arsed performance like today and swansea will rip into us. even without bony they are a pretty good team and definitely no pushovers. they will be up for it without a doubt. gomis will be a massive challenge for zouma and hope he deals well with his physicality. not an easy job at all. also, hope azpi is back. cech iva zouma JT azpi rambo matic willian cesc hazard costa
-
just feel swansea would be a little different from stoke. more like soton than stoke. we were kind of overrun in mid that day in the first half. need those legs in the mid and i think rambo would be more suited than mikel.
-
it would cost us atleast 100mil. seriously doubt we can afford that.
-
more freedom does not equate to directly becoming better in attack. like i said before, i would just love to know how many touches he had in the first half cos i dont remember many. the first 15 minutes, we were barely in the game. the supply lines to him were simply not there. the only time he got the ball was on their corners when we tried to counter.and whenever he was on the ball, we looked dangerous. for me, hazard and cech were probably to of the players who would not have got a hair dryer from jose. fair point about cesc and think we need to go back to matic-rambo pivot with cesc as no.10.

i do watch united games and dont need to go to redcafe to validate. those are for people like you who do the exact opposite. like i said, mata has been very good when played in his position but generally he has been shifted out wide on the right where his lack of speed makes redundant. zouma had barely played first team football till then, ake is still a 19 year old. and if u actually want to do that then powell has scored a goal for united, played in a fa cup final, and same with keane and james.
-
5 goals, 3 assists and pretty good everytime he has played in his main position instead of being shifted to the RW. we played zouma, ake christensen and our other squad players against shrewsbury and won the game 2-1. anderson, evans, welbeck. kagawa, keane, powell, ddg are exactly that, i think.

spurs back to what they do best!!!
-
well, your argument was that we came 6th in the league when it dint take into account the team we played at emirates and anfield, that we were solely concentrating on FA and CL and that we had literally given up on the league and top 4 way before it actually ended. like i said before, mata was the creator and the playmaker of those teams. he was flanked by kalou and malouda and had the defensive pivot of rambo/mikel. so.... running out of excuses i see. u do understand that conceding 3 goals in 6 matches even in the easiest group in CL is still a massively good job. and all of those teams are 100 times better than mk dons. but well, since you think that drawing away to spurs and stoke is equivalent to drawing whu and norwich at home, then i am not at all suprised at anything,
-
totally disagree. i dont think hazard had many touches of the ball in the first half. i would love to see those stats of just the first half. our best moment of the first half came through hazard when he won he ball and put diego through. there was another instance where towards the end of the half when he could have put willian thru on the left but chose to take the ball himself, but he was our main threat, like always. agree about cesc's role, but disagree about how good he was defensively. we were getting mauled out there. by now we have established that our defence is shaky when players are running at them and yet there were 4/5 individual instances where this happened. and i would understand if it was on a counter, but it was not. newcastle were actually dominating us and the mid was where we were losing the main battle. putting a shift is different from actually doing a proper job.
-
which team won the CL? they have rooney, maria and ample attacking options. i can understand why they would not.
-
those were 2 off days when nothing clicked for us. specially spurs. everton was a freak game where we simply tried to outscore them cos they were as shit as us. we are also the team who conceded the least goals in the CL group stage while united got their asses kicked by league 2 team mk dons (4-0).
-
another LOL reply. specially for someone like mata who was generally the player behind every thing good the team did. a proper playmaker who ran the whole game, specially under fsw when the team was based around him
-
not conceding a goal is not equal to a superior defense. you would know that if you had watched united play soton at st. mary's or any football for that matter before speaking. hence the use of the words defensive stability
-
you just compared chelsea of last season to united who have no defensive stability, have no proper formation, are playing rooney as a DM with young and valencia as wing backs. dude, please give it up!!! also, 2 away draws to spurs (we lost 3-5) and stoke (always a difficult place to go) is equivalent to a goalless draw at bridge against whu and a relegated norwich at bridge???? dude, please give it up!!!
-
they are just like fulham. just do enough to stay up. one of the seasons, soon, they are going down. PS - 1-1.. come on!!!
-
we definitely would have drawn 0-0 against norwich/whu? i mean there was no scope of improvement was there? we were forced to play salah in almost every match towards the end. oscar was out of form. hazard was injured. saying mata would have made no difference is the understatement. but we have been thru this before, lets leave it at this. you still on that. get a new line mate. also, if i watch streams at 240p what about u? someone who thought oscar was perfectly fine last season and even the season before and had to eat his words.

sucks. the place was so much better without.
