i do know its an opinion and one that is different from the world's best manager's. but considering that someone like SAF played fabio and rafael in mid while selling pogba, even the great ones can make mistakes. and in my opinion, jose is making one right now. this is the oscar thread. if u want to celebrate the win, u can go the the match thread or english football thread and i have been pretty jovial and happy there. but unfotunately this thread is dedicated to oscar and i would rather talk about him and his performances rather than the fact that we are 7 points ahead. "he may be one day"... 3rd year in running. wont be one bit suprised if it continues to the 4th year too. whats worse is that after shit performances against pool, city and today, he will have a decent one against everton and people will come out of their hibernation and start with the "where are the haters now". anyways, for chelsea's sake, i hope he goes the way your beloved luiz went and we get an actual world class player like pogba rather than continue with a bad pretender

he is a brilliant player. can control the tempo of the game. even defensively he is solid. but most importantly he has a knack of scoring goals. the importance of a goal scorer in the midfield can be understood by chelsea fans more than any other set of fans. but, i have to admit that this talk of 80-100mil is crazy. absolutely crazy.

the only thing i can say is that u have not really watched pogba play many times.

this. this is the best solution. shift cesc to no.10, matic-pogba-rambo as the CM/DM options and we are set.

city is closer to spurs in 5th position(6 points) than to us in the 1st position (7 points)

good game. dealt well with agbanlahor. he definitely needed some time off. had started almost every game for england and chelsea since a looong time.

not a great performance but a great result. villa away is our bogey game and considering we came with 2 points more than city, i am happy. courtois - pathetic performance. dont know whats happened to his cross holding ability (which was something that set him apart from cech). iva - what a screamer!!! what a fucking goal!!! awesome.. got caught a couple of times out of position but what a big goal. GC - good comeback game. dealt well with agbanlahor's pace, JT- solid performance. azpi- what a run for the goal. a LB assisting a right back from open play. thats the stuff of champions. matic - good performance. did what he does best. broke up play and got our attacks to start. rambo - another good performance. even in the no.10 role he was pretty decent. should have scored another goal had it not been for some very good defending. willian - MOTM for me. the signing of cuadrado seems to have woken him up. he should be starting in the no.10 role. oscar- another pathetic performance. except for the run for the goal, did NOTHING. the way he let whoever get away for the goal was embarrasing. he simply does not give us anything. hazard - good finish. but apart from that, pretty quite. a couple of good dribbles but not an hazard performance. DD - very poor. could not do anything right. sad but it seems its over. 36 going to be 37 soon, hopefully he has a PL winning send off. subs - mikel - good performance. cooled down the things and not suproisingly we dint lose the ball and get exposed to counters since oscar was not on the pitch. remy - he should have started. dont understand jose's relucatance to start him.

he does not start for us? who started today then? who has played 2749 minutes for us this season (compared to 2311 of oscar's which makes GC an even more imprtant player does not it?) is not that cahill or am i mistaking him for someone else?and since people cant argue about oscar and his pathetically hopeless performances, they start attacking others about their loyalty and how much of a fan they are of the clubs. i guess top of the league would mean we are perfect and have nothing to improve on and that all our players are putting in 10/10 performances.

courtois and DD are having a nightmare out there. people saying that courtois could not hold onto the ball cos there were people touching him are probably watching PL and football for the first fucking time. DD wont be subbed cos its just a goal advantage. but he has been awful!!!

jose has spoken about bamford and I would not be suprised if he gets the 3rd striker spot. He has earned it. Zouma is showing tremendous potential. Jose does not like to tinker with his back 4 and always has had a short squad of defenders. For varane/inigo/someone to come in someone will go out. Which loanee is coming back as a "consistent" first team plauer? Thorgan will be our 5th choice AM in a job eauivalent of salah's this season and traore as 6th choice. Mvg/romeu as the 4th choice CM/DM in the role to reolace mikel and each of them is as good if not a better player than mikel.

well considering your name here, I can guess your problem with selling oscar. But considering how average he has been and also conaidering our sell and then buy policy, if we actually go for pogba who is a WORLD CLASS PLAYER, then oscar will be the best bet to be sold.

and he was as good as cole if not better even then in 12-13. btw, i should have made it clear that i meant under jose. especially since cole had a horrendous start to the last campaign and yet bertrand was not given a look in. he fit the profile of a jose defender so well. brilliant work rate. solid in defence. always putting in 7/10 performances. and on the first decent chance he has got in his career, he is showing what he is capable of.
