  1. everton was our 3rd game of the season, they were so shit after they finished in top 6 last season. but since you are so desperately trying to clutch at straws, i will concede that whenever we have a fit player to replace oscar, he does not start a big away game. even if its an in-form soton.
  2. somehow "he plays well" has become the same "as he assisted" these days. guess he played brilliantly against newcastle then
  3. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25908324- that the match i was talking about. along with many last season when we had a full squad. this season rambo was injured for many of our big games and schurrle's hopeless form gave us no option. he played united cos we dint have rambo for the game, he played spurs and i saw his defensive prowess in marking kane for the first goal. he was dropped in the game at etihad or at the goodison and any big away game where we had the slightest option.
  4. yes i saw how good he was defensively when he let that spanish player go past him in the last game. he is so brilliant defensively that jose chucks him out in every big game and play willian through the center and rambo on the wing (city away and numeros other examples). he is infact so great defensively that in away games jose has prefered to play as cesc as no.10 and dropping oscar on the bench (pool leage cup, soton, stoke).
  5. what? let me refresh your memory. you said that a 21 year old player who has not played football at the highest level should not be our 3rd striker. i said that a 21 year old harry kane who had not played at the highest level of football is literally carrying the team. and then you came out with jose does not drop his vetrans for kids, which i have proved to be crap. you can go to the previous page and please check the facts. even after me and another person and the fact that jose started remy against city, u still persist with remy being our 3rd striker. you still have not given me a single fault in bamford's game and why he is CAPABLE of being our 3rd striker. its clear that you have not even watched him ever. so why dont you discuss something or someone that you do know about. and again, for the 5th AM we have gone from mata to salah to brown. so things are are changing here.
  6. hahhaha... u do know that cesc is playing as a CM and has a 100 times more defensive responsibilities than oscar? to even say that has to be the worst argument. saying cesc is defensively weaker than oscar is another argument which i cant even fathom to take seriously.
  7. and now we are off to discuss poccetino and jose. digress digress and then digress some more. your point was that jose does drop his veterans for kids and i have proved that is a load of crap. what pocchetino does or does not do, i dont give a shit. the 3rd striker role will have some responsibility and pressure. but it would be the perfect amount of it to judge if bamford does have a futue with us, hence the 3rd striker role.
  8. well, thats the position oscar has put us all in, has not he? i mean how poor can cuadrado be on the RW to be correspondingly as bad as oscar has been as a CAM. mata got goals and assists in plenty. in 2012-13, mata had 19 goals and 35 assists in 4893 minutes (90 minutes per goal/assists) which means that at an average he got a goal/assistin each match (http://www.transfermarkt.com/juan-mata/leistungsdaten/spieler/44068/plus/?saison=2012). oscar is supposedly making a massive impact by his goals and assists which are 7 goals and 8 assists in 2293 minutes (152 minutes/goal+assist) (http://www.transfermarkt.com/oscar/leistungsdaten/spieler/85314). unfortunately for oscar, we have someone who can give us everything he has and more - cesc. he is good at pressing, has a good workrate, defensively does not just run around but actually does defend and lets not even go into the creative part of it cos it is an embarassing difference between the 2 of them.
  9. nd kane plays for a manager that dropped his veterans for young kids. this is what you said which i had a problem with. did i say jose gives chances to youth and would drop matic for RLC. so dont try and put words into my mouth and digress from the argument, which is exactly what you have continued doing here. irrespective of age, jose has chosen kids to start over veterans when those veterans have slumped. you know something, i can almost bet everything i have on the fact that you have not even watched bamford once. you have not given a single valid reason of why bamford would not be a good 3rd choice striker except that he "has not played at the highest level". right now our 3rd striker is DD, and as much as i love DD, i can safely say, bamford is as good at the moment or definitely not far behind. he is a good finisher, has good pace, his movement is pretty decent. obviously there is a massive dearth of experience and the know how, but guess what, he wont get that unless given a chance. also, when jose came here, our AM options were oscar, willian, hazard, mata, schurrle, kdb... right now, our 5th and 6th AMs are boga and brown. i can indeed see the difference.
  10. soton and stoke away, 2 matches that cesc played as no.10 and we had the control of the game all match long. Something that playing with oscar as a no.10 is impossible to do since he loses the ball every second time he touches it. For that matter, starting a trio of hazard-william-cuadrado in the next match looks like a far beyter prospect than having a passenger like oscar in the team
  11. the same pepe who was probably one of the best defenders last season and helped RM win the CL? your point was that jose did not do youth which was wrong. GC was dropped. why does zouma have to start all throughout the rest of the season for my argument to be valid. thats just LOL. go and read what you had written. oh, so you want bamford to go for a PL loan, like WBA? what if he scores 17 goals for them. i know what will happen then, people like you will say, "its not the same playing for WBA as it is playing for chelsea. he needs to go out on loan to a proper team where he can learn to play against packed defences". and sounds too familair does not it? someone even said that courtois should go out on loan and get a feel of PL, so i am not really that surprised.
  12. so dropping carvalho/pepe for varane and GC for zouma is not what jose did? also, as i said, i dont expect bamford to come in and start starting for us. but a 3rd striker role with cup games and sub appearances is exactly what we should be looking at. for that matter, replacing mata with a 21 year old oscar was in the same lines. if the player is better suited for jose's plans or to jose's system, he will be given a chance they were mata, luiz and schurrle. world cup winners and settled first team players. lukaku had the most number of goals in the last 2 seasons after aguero if i am not wrong. thorgan is a 21 year old kid. apples and oranges.
  13. DD had more starts and appearances cos remy was a new buy and like we all know, jose likes to give his players a period of integration. and when we thought remy would start starting, he got injured (united) along with costa. hence DD had to start. the man city match proved that remy is definitely higher on priority list than DD as of this moment, which was your original point. so what if DD is an african product? how does that make any sense. harry kane is 21 years old and before this season people had barely heard of him. he had barely played at the "highest level" of football. so he is useless???he has no future in football? at this moment bamford is doing great. even his performance against city in FA cup was proof of that. he is definitely ready for the 3rd striker role. THORGAN WILL BE A CHELSEA PLAYER. if jose wants him to stay next year as the 5th choice, he will. he wont have an option despite why he had signed a contract or what he wants to do. add to that the fact that he will have the influence of his big brother as a guidance this is pretty much a possibility.
  14. If there is anyway I can watch the match, I will. As simple as that. In the last 5 years, the only match that was telecasted and that I missed was chelsea sunderland last season. The constant score checking was far more fruatrating than I think watching a shit performance. It was my bro's wedding and I swore to myself to never miss a match knowingly again. Just can't stand the suspense
  15. hahhhah.. did that really happen??By the way, the mumbai airport has a very hi speed wifi (Ithink).
  16. Deserved result for whu so far!!! But thwy are sitting too deep. Only a matter of time for united
  17. Luiz went for 37mil £ and despite being on the bench or being played in mid for half the season last season, still made the fifa team of thw year. U still think that any of that had to do with his skill or talent? Its all about marketability
  18. fair enough, but i dont think anyone here is wanting to buy just attacking players. people want a reus or someone who is as adept defensively as oscar. those stats are so misleading. the newcastle goal opener was a tap in after willian's hard work. infact after a half where he must have lost the ball 50% of the time he touched is the bare minimum he was supposed to do. we were lucky not to be 2-0/3-0 down after being exposed defensively by his constant give aways. we dont seem to control the game like we should be doing with him on the pitch and his performances are no where near the ones that our no.1 no10 should be putting. fair enough, but so would GC and mikel and everyone who has played there respective parts, but it still does not mean that there is no room for improvement. teams like city wont always have such a poor season as they are having currently (unable to beat woeful hull and giving away 2-0 leads to sunderland and burnley, losing to stoke at etihad, losing to arsenal at etihad).
  19. ronaldo and bale dont track back. watch niguez's goal. watch how bale leaves him totally free to run, something we all should agree willian is great at, and please just watch villa's goal and see how good oscar really is in defending. no one is overlooking the importance of balance.but that is not what oscar is providing. saying is oscar is providing balance and people are just overlooking his "importance" takes me back 4-5 years when people so adamantly said the same things about miikel. replacing oscar with willian and cuadrado on the RW for this season and then asking for cesc to be played in the no.10 position with a pivot of pogba-matic is hardly wanting to play an unbalanced team.
  20. remy started over DD against city. so argument null and void. DD was 24 and barely had started his football career at the highest level.right now, inspite of bamford being 21, he is playing really well and was a part of our pre season campaign. players need to play games as well as up their standard. the first step to become a regular in a club like CFC under jose will never be that someone performed brilliantly on loan and now would be a starter. any young player like thorgan will have to do his time on the bench and slowly but surely be integrated in the first team. players sign contracts cos they have a dream to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. a dream that would be realised for a couple of them.
  21. so remy is not good enough as a second striker? you know what, lets wait and see if we buy another striker next season. how are we stopping his development? this is not FM or fifa where just by playing time a player gets developed. thorgan would get to play and train with the best of the world in a team which is the best in the world. also, why would we jeapordise our own position for the sake of the "supoosed" developement of 2 players. if romeu was so admanat of not playing for chelsea, why did he sign a 3 year extension with us knowing he will be going out to loan. you are making no sense whatsoever.
  22. Bamford has earned a 3rd striker spot cos he has succeeded at every team and every test that we have set for him and with flying colours. If not bamford then who? You want us to get a 20mil striker for the 3rd striker role who would barely have any influence on our season? After this season ends, thorgan will no longer be a monchengladbach player and romeu will no longer be a stuttgart player. Both of them will be chelsea players who have contracts here and will do whatever the club thinks is the best for us not for them. Also, the chance for playing for one of the best clubs in the world and under the best manager of the world is harfly something you don't want to do.
  23. fine if it makes him a winner, did i argue about him being a winner? why are you digressing and going on, on arbit tangents. talk about his PERFORMANCE. thats what i am interested in. which areas exactly are you talking about? his so called "defensive prowess" cos twice in the match he was left dead by the spanish player. the goal itself was a massive example. if you are talking about his supposed "creativity", then just LOL. his passing was shit and has been shit, his link up play is bad. he gives away the ball about 50% of times that he has possession. so i think it is as easy as it sounds. so again playing the "we are just fans" card!!! i dont blame you, after his performance today, i wont have much to say too!!
