Chelsea are lining up a shock bid for PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, according to The Metro. Jose Mourinho is a long-standing admirer of the Swede, and the pair enjoy a close relationship having worked together at inter Milan. The Blues though will face competition for the player's signature from AC Milan and several MLS clubs.

Elsewhere, central defender Raphael Varane could be on his way out of Real Madrid this summer, putting Chelsea on red alert, reports The Daily Express. Varane has been watched by Chelsea scouts for some time and is seen as the long-term successor to John Terry. Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen on the French international.
