  1. Where to start? As a team, our finishing was fucking abysmal. The game should've been put to rest much earlier if we could hit the net instead of the guy standing in it. People are saying that we only won because we had a near-full strength team, well United's front 6 had some top players in it. The ref was bloody awful. Nothing new though. I've been pretty clear that Luiz & Sturridge aren't good enough. My opinion hasn't changed. Luiz needs to calm down and Sturridge thinks he's better than he actually is. Dave was good, terrible challenge to give that pen away at the end, but i'll put that one down to fatigue. Not sure how Moses got MOTM, he was good and provided some with which we really needed. Should've scored. Oscar is a gem. He is so effortless. Mata/Hazard good as always. The more they play together, the better they'll be. Ramires changed the game for me. He's awesome. Classy kiss of the badge as well when he scored. I repeat, he's awesome. Romeu was a bit lost, looked really off the pace. Bring on Leeds. Warnock needs shutting up.
  2. Lol 15 attempts, 4 on target. Story of the night.
  3. Lmao let's not get into blaming the ref again. Still 20 mins.
  4. And there's the difference. United have taken their chances.
  5. Defending has been a shambles. No authority whatsoever.
  6. He may be the epitome of an absolute cunt but i'd have Hernandez over Sturridge any day.
  7. We have really not been on our game so far.
  8. Danny would probably have started in the League Cup anyway. Torres will likely be back in the side for the Swansea game. Unfortunately.
  9. Of course I don't think players would just make it up, but The Mail are saying Mikel/Mata/Gourlay/RDM went to Clattenburg after the game for an apology, which makes me wonder to what degree of insult we're talking about. I can understand foul language/swearing, it's part of the game on the field to be honest. If it's racial abuse, considering the FA's agenda with it lately, he has to be sacked. Mind you, he should be sacked for sheer incompetence anyway. I'm also sure Clattenburg has been involved in something like this before... Not racial abuse, but insults/verbal abuse.
  10. Does anyone else find it hard to believe a referee racially abused a player? I really do. I can understand incompetence and bias (not that i'm saying that's ok), but not that. The Mail are saying he called Mata a 'Spanish twat' and Mikel was the other player in question, i'm sure we'll find out the words Clattenburg used in due course. What an embarrassing day for the FA and English football.
  11. Fuck this. Fuck United. Fuck Van Persie. Fuck Hernandez. Fuck Red Nose. Fuck the FA. Fuck Clattenburg.
  12. He was hilariously bad. CL is a bit crazy this year, I have to say.
  13. Can't complain, we were well beaten. We lost an away group game last year and we all know how that turned out. Anyway, moving on...
  14. We are being beaten by the better team. It happens.
  15. I wasn't expecting much from this game to be honest. We've been second to every ball, second in every tackle, haven't passed well and haven't pressed the ball well enough. If it weren't for Cech we'd be down 1 or 2 more and we could have no complaints. Shaktar have been very good indeed, they look so much more determined. The biggest pain in the arse about this is that it's probably the worse possible place to come before a big game on Sunday.
  16. The Donbass is a hard enough place to come without giving away any cheap chances. Fernandinho deserved a goal to be fair, he has controlled this game.
  17. Have to say, Shaktar have been mightily impressive. Oscar and Torres have been very poor overall. Same with the defence.
  18. And the award for the softest yellow card ever given goes to...
  19. Calamitous defending. Still plenty of time however.
  20. Now SSN saying Bale's partner has gone into labour? This is hilarious.
  21. Dembele is still out injured, Spurs say Bale is starting. Seems pretty concrete.
