Never really liked him either, such a strange appointment.

What a legend! Really would have loved to see him become permanent manager when he was here. He saved our season & could have gone on to achieve so much more. Best of luck for whatever he decides to do when he retires. He's earnt it thats for sure. Thank you Guus!

He has to be first choice centre back! We are so much more solid when he plays there, no reason for him to be playing right back with dave coming in. Luiz & Cahill need to fight for the other position while terry is injured.

& how classy he has been throughout his whole time in charge he hasn't said a bad word against anyone. His words when he was sacked were that of one who loved the club & was grateful for the opportunity to manage us. No matter what Robbie done it would never be good enough for Roman. He accepted full blame for the 3-0 defeat. Not many would do that, the players had to take some of the blame as well but he chose not to criticise them.

What a post. Everything robbie did for the club summed up. RDM will always be legend in the eyes of the fans & they will never forget how horribly he's been treated.

He flew back at 1am greeted supporters at the airport then a crisis meeting was called at 4am & robbie learnt his fate. Chelsea made the announcement at 9am. Robbies fate was sealed long before the 3-0 defeat as rafa was approached a week before the game about the job. It's disgusting the way he's been treated.
