Welcome!
-
I won't miss either game. Fantastic!
-
Happy birthday Mr Chelsea!
-
Drogba what a guy! Absolute legend. Those rings really are something.
-
No we won the cup winners cup twice. Completely different competition.
-
The atmosphere was strange, despite scoring a lot of goals everyone knew it was in vein sad to see the bridge like that As for the fans complaining about Europa league stop being so spoilt, it's a decent competition, it's basically still the Uefa cup. It's something we've never won & have a good chance of winning. Atletico have done a good service to the cup, they're a good team & certainly showed us a thing or two. I would be happy with bringing the trophy back to the bridge.
-
Well pretty much what I was expecting tonight that we would go out. It's disappointing but the Europa league is a trophy we can win. This really cheered me up though... @cfitzy69: Thanks for wasting our CL spot you wankers. European Chumps. #cfc #THFC

How's the weather in London? I know it's been snowing in certain places.
-
& he always gave his all, Torres on the other hand.. Well we all know.
-
Ill be in the MHL!
-
Me too! Ill be there. Lets hope for a good atmosphere!
-
Neither is Torres..... Sigh.
-
Lets hope the players & fans attending dont have this attitude
-
Disgusting thing is that drogba was booed by his own fans & his performances were never as bad as Torres' yet he gets support & his name chanted for the smallest things.
-
Documentary on Muamba tonight at 10 on ITV4, will be an interesting watch.
-
Of course Torres wants to stay at chelsea. 150000 plus a week, first choice despite playing like absolute shit. He's going to play every game under Rafa without making any effort what so ever there's no threat to his place at the moment. Only an idiot would leave, as I said in my previous post..... WORSE THAN BOGARDE.

Yeah there were problems under RDM, I think these problems have been doubled by bringing Benitez in though. He's got one hell of a job on his hands to rescue this season. I just cannot see it happening though. Obviously Roman ended up in a position of having to give RDM the job. The timing of this season & pep's sabbatical fucked Romans plans up. I just think he could have stuck with him till the end of the season & got a top 4 finish parted with robbie & hired pep as expected. We can only hope that rafa has a plan, I'm not convinced though.

It baffles me how he couldn't trust the guy who won us the CL for at least one season yet he trusts rafa to perform another miracle in 6 months. Was 6 months extra really too much to ask for RDM? I think the fans would have been able to accept that he would go at the end of the season for Pep. We all know this was always his plan.

Roman is expecting too much from this season, top 4 finish is the most important thing. I'm guessing it's because things started so well in the league & we were humiliated in the super cup & CL against Juve. Things have fell off lately but we always always seem to have this slump in November I have no idea why. Roman reacted too harshly sacking RDM, but we were never going to win the CL again this season. My point wasn't about getting rid of rafa, but i'm pretty sure things aren't going to get any better under him, hence why we should have stuck with RDM who the players and fans trusted. I can only see things getting worse from now on in, and we have to put up with it and stick it out because of the decision to let RDM go. Top 4 feels like it is slipping away with every game.

Being solid defensively is important yes, shipping 3 against West Ham not so solid. But my original point wasn't about sacking Rafa was it? It was about sticking with RDM in the first place if Rafa was the only option to bring in. Things weren't exactly a disaster but now things have a danger of spiraling out of control. I honestly believe Rafa is never going to be the right man for Chelsea with his ideas of playing football, whether the fans were onside with him or not.

You can't say that the players have the same relationship with Rafa as they did with RDM. You could see the way RDM celebrated with his players, when we eventually win a game I very much doubt that their will be many celebrations with rafa, he very rarely celebrates anyway. As for his ideas, they are very negative, the defense was solid for the first 2 games but we literally created fuck all going forward. Okay things were not great under RDM but we looked like a team with spirit we were able to come back from going down. Right now the atmosphere around the club is very negative, the fans & the players. Rafa is not the man to get us out of this depressing spell he's just going to make it worse and worse.
