These games were just building us up, they're morale boosting for the players, especially the 7-0 win. & i enjoyed watching it as well. The real tests will come in the next pre season games and then we will be ready for Portsmouth. Satisfied with the performance today it was a clean sheet and a couple of goals. I'm hoping this will boost Anelka's confidence and be the start of a good season for him. Good to see Bridge and Joey Cole starting. Bring on the next game

Watching sky sports news last night and a liverpool fan e-mail'ed saying this is it now liverpool for the title. I lol'ed, how long they been trying? & they think Robbie Keane's gonna bring them the title. Don't get me wrong i've always liked Robbie Keane, he had a season at Coventry.
