  1. That's right. Let's sack Benitez, the board. Sell Ramires, Mikel and Torres - our problems are solved. Fed up with these self made professors trying to fetch likes with knee jerk posts and contributing shit that's 'in'.
  2. Sure they listen, it's not like they get somekind of satisfaction pissing the fans off, but i guess they are trying to the best thing for the club financially.
  3. Ancelotti should have never been let go. He managed us for 2 years, more than 100 games and had win percentage of nearly 62%. Bloody good.. it's a shame - people also liked him in general, though as usual same faces kept asking for his head after a few slumps.
  4. Well said, mate. Another one of those threads where people post memes and slate Rafa /Torres to hoard precious likes. Not to mention patting one another one the shoulder saying how talented we are etc.
  5. Might be an easy game but it takes to be a genius to succeed. Only a little, very little proportion get to be pro regarding football or sports in general. You're bringing up successful people, who made it in the business but there must be millions of counter-examples of players/managers.
  6. Sam Allerdyce would love that. After all, there are only a few managers who's CVs are more impressive.
  7. Don't be delusional, playing FM isn't actually qualification for coaching badges, lol
  8. It came down to not using our chances and we had them alright. Atleast a couple of 100% chances but also a penalty call turned down. So wasn't our day...
  9. Luckily there is the second leg - so i remain hopeful. All in all.. bad day for Ivanovic, put the 2 goals on a silver plate for Swansea. Though, the main worry is that we missed 4-5 sitters. Might argue that Torres was the culprit, in fact he was utterly useless, but we just didn't take the 100% chances - our own fault. Well done to Swansea for using our mistakes to their advantage both time. Can't say the better team won, because we did dominate, but in the end of the day the end score counts. So much possession and pressure from our side.. now I know what it feels to be a Barca fan and lose. Remain hopeful but it will be hell of a tougher job in Liberty Stadium, fingers crossed. MOTM for me was Hazard, Mata was uncharacteristically wasteful. Luiz did brilliantly in the first half,, second half average, can remember a few interceptions but also a sniper rifle bullet aimed towards the stands. Our fullbacks are put into a situation constantly where they have to make a cross to the box from a very tight angle. At the end we actually had someone to attack them and very nearly got a goal. Demba did good when he came on and imho it was a penalty. The boos for Torres was deafening, hope it gives out a message for matches to come.
  10. Luiz has been brilliant. Owning it up in the midfield with his vision and passes.. well done.First time I've actually noticed his brilliance in the midfield.Though Hazard in my eyes has been a bit better, but not by a big margin!
  11. Ivanovic made the mistake that gave the goal away but man, is he playing his heart out - RESPECT! Edit: Oscar fished the card for Hernandez brilliantly, nerves of steel. Well worth an Oscar!
  12. Big upset of you winning Super Villains, well done. Hopefully there is someone who can trump Villains and Xrated this year around - why not you?
  13. My point wasn't that Frank isn't capable of winning games. What I meant was that it is not smart to be so dependent on an aging player who in his best mind can't perform on the same level week in week out. That's why im saying if he accepts a smaller role and a proportional wage he'd still be very vital for us. Like Scholes and Giggs. Giggs still makes things happen for United, when he does come on, but he has accepted that his role is more to be a super sub when he comes on and mentoring and being an example to younger players. The board seems to be moving to a direction where they want to clear Chelsea out from the old-guard. They have too much say and power - a factor that keeps any manager away on permanent basis.
  14. I guess he did enough to deter managers ( there have been a few) from constantly picking him. We don't know the sole reason(s) behind this and saying it's all Torres' fault is very biased. Let's just see how he does in Liverpool, his start against non-league side was impressive though.
  15. Again with you and your facts.. look up any game where he played for us.. he tried to win the Puskas award every time. Sometimes trying is not enough, isn't Torres trying? And taking on IMPOSSBILE shots when losing is very very selfish, if failing making you look like a total egoistic gloryhunter, which he has in my eyes. Even, lol, you can't deny that it's frustrating to see Luiz etc try from long way out hitting Sputniks on the way. Edit: I love the way you ignored my first part of the post directed to you.
  16. Might be best midfielder in history but history won't win us games anymore. Having respect for Lampard and his legacy is one thing, not seeing clearly that a 35 year old can't contribute week in week out anymore is something else. Financially it's best for the club to let him go unless he accepts a smaller role in the club and a massive pay cut. If he loves Chelsea so much and wants to help the club - he would do it.
  17. Why are you insulting people? They are not insulting you in any way. The fact they disagree with you isn't a reason - so grow up and learn to argument. Saying Danny looked FIVE TIMES better than Torres just shows you're very immature and not really capable of having a proper discussion on forums - and then you have the nerve to ask every single doubter of his for proofs, facts. Look buddy, noone is trying to win you over. You've got very cocky after your CL win prediction, time to get over it. Sooner or later your bubble will burst and you'll realize you don't have supernatural powers. PS. Insulting zolayes (or any other TC member in fact) is never a good idea, have some respect. About Sturridge... There must be a reason why Sturridge wasn't picked over Torres. Now don't give me that old bullshit like this team is based around Torres and that Rafa was brought in to make him better. Get real, it's even more mad of a conspiracy than Sturridge blasting Chelsea at every angle. To be fair, Sturridge was a selfish striker with a diva attitude and he would try to take on impossible shots even when we were losing. Wish him all the best in Liverpool and soon he will prove the doubters wrong, remains to be seen which doubters.
  18. Agreeing 100% with Zolayes. He isn't as influential on the pitch as he is off it, at least now at his age. He is a great player to have around in the dressing room with all of his experience and knowledge of the game that he can pass onto younger players. When he does come on from time to time, he is rested, feels like giving his all. The fact is, his mind might tell him that he is still that midfield maestro that was so crucial to Chelsea seasons ago but the fact is, he isn't getting any younger and he has lost some of his skill and touch - but he still has his experience and that's the main reason why the club should let him stay. That's of course if he accepts a substitute role and wont make the team chemistry bad with sulking etc. That's for one. Secondly, if he is offered a contract extension for a year (which seems to be the policy for 30+) , then aren't we just putting off the inevitable? He will eventually leave the club, the club has to spot the difference if he will be useful to us anymore or not. We would be faced with the same drama next year. Third point I'd like to make. Getting rid of our so called old guard would pave way to a new manager that would like a fresh start. Having the Lampards and Drogbas and Terrys around will in a way challange the authority of the manager and will put down certain boundaries for him. So in that sense the club is doing all the dirty work atm to allow a new manager to stamp his own print to this club. One example of EXCESSIVE player power is the sacking of AVB where the old guard were all against him. It did get ugly at one point and Abramovich has since then promised to deal with the rebels, regardless of their status in the club. Rightly so. To sum it up,I love him as a player and keep him if he still has something to offer. Whether it be on the pitch or off it, but I don't expect him to stay just for the sake of it that he is a Chelsea legend. I feel that if he knows that he can't challenge for spots in the midfield and can't contribute anymore, he should step aside. As I've said it before - noone is bigger than the club. KTBFFH
  19. If he comes, I'll support him regardless if he is a superstar or a relatively unknown player.. he might turn out to be a very decent player and plus we could use some depth - for the sake of the club and options for Rafa. Not going to feel sorry for players if they can't get playing time, bcs they are not as good as other players at same position. Real life and transfers aren't like FM, where you got fixed values and potentials programmed in - in reality there are tons of factors that can make or break a player great.
  20. Good on you mate So in Finland it's 180 days? Did you get any rank? What was your specialty? Asking bcs I also finished military service though it lasted a year Was a combat medic, by rank I'm corporal, but medicine has always interested me so now I'm in med school and after finishing catastrophic medicine course ill get promoted to ensign - one rank below 2nd lieutenant.
  21. Some of his dribbles resemble Messi, very good footballer and still very young.. a bright future ahead of him if he makes right choices and keeps making progress week in week out.. though would be foolish of Chelsea to go snap up youngsters for 20mil if we've got enough to fill the position and the likes of KdB etc coming through.. would be bad for his talent and progress as well just a luxury signing for us. Grass is not always greener on other side of the fence.
  22. Sorry mate, misread - thanks for correcting. You're right , he didnt kiss the PITCH
