  1. I agree, Rafa has to go in order win over fans for atleast some periods of time before the new manager needs to make unpopular decisions due to lack of options.
  2. The most urgent matter is that we are overusing our players. The most vital part of our formation -the 2 midfielders- are Lamps and Ramires, we have noone to sub them with until Luiz comes back and Mikel returns and both of those are something we can't control, nor can the new manager. We are sitting ducks unless we can get most of our players back. Agree about Wilkins, ill be a major boost to us but will he come and even he can't bake bread from shit. And again, we might dislike Benitez, but we dont know whats going on in the dressing room. This isn't as obvious as AVB or Scolari case.
  3. Let's say Rafa gets sacked in the evening. We get a new temporary manager that will lift the mood of the fans, not so sure about players, because they will still need to play shitloads of games with no reinforcements coming in any time soon - same old for them. My main question is though, how do we know that the next manager wont start using Torres, can make subs that suit all our FANS, can work out a possible rotation policy with a non existing and not play Bertrand, Oscar etc out of position, even though we lack options? I mean Rafa isn't the first one to have an headache with Torres etc.
  4. Being a hardman is catching up to him with age. I dont question his desire to do well but sometimes if you want something too bad, you wont achieve it.
  5. I've been lurking on this board from 2009 and I can't say any manager has been given time by fans. It usually takes a few months before new possible manager candidates start to pop up randomly.
  6. Agree with you. Might be because he is played in a role he never should play in. He is AMF and we can't change that. He never was Pirlo like player the current role asks him to be. Apart from that he scored a brilliant goal-shame it didn't count for nothing today - but also showed many misplaced passes, tiredness from lack of rotation options. 6/10
  7. To be fair here, we did come out all guns blazing albeit the goals being superb. But we mentally cracked right after the defense brainfart with their 2-2 goal.
  8. Feel the same way, we need a big fighting spirit not a big price tag. Good post!
  9. Wtf is it got to do with players not liking the manager? It's the fans that make our relatively young squad panic and afraid to commit mistakes, which ironically is exactly what it does.
  10. Nothing had indicated that. What has been seen is that our players can't cope with all this negativity from the fans on and off the field. That is caused by Rafa and he should leave to make supporters back the team. Though it's funny how some choose not to support the TEAM just bcs a manager we all dislike is in charge.
  11. Enough of feeling sorry for ourselves. We could have had a penalty, they should have had a red card for their brutality but coulds, woulds, shoulds don't count. We were shit, only players worth mentioning are Mata and Cech. Where has our defense gone? Terry being back showed that we missed a leader in the team, we had a go and scored 2 goals after what our fucking defense went napping and left Cech exposed. Although I can't see any rift between raf and players, there's an insurmountable gap between the manager and the fans and it's catching into the players. Negativity everywhere, blind hatred. Again we were wasteful, clumsy. Players were so fucking lazy, going to attack everyone were looking for Mata just to pass the ball on and then hide behind defenders. When we were counter attacked, fucking hell, OSCAR was making a run back with Cahill after Terry did that sliding tackle that took him out of the game and left Cech against 2 Newcastle players. Sacking Rafa would be treating a syndrome here, real treatment can only be done in the summer when we get -as funny as it is with us- a new long-term manager and as it looks so far, dont renew contracts, let them leave and get in new hungry players that have the legs, the desire to actually do something. At the moment, whats going on on the field shows total disrespect for the shirt.
  12. May i remind you we dont have Mikel and wont have him for some time, same goes for Moses, Luiz.
  13. We need a change and fast, old guard out, Rafa out and get in a manager with fresh idea, fresh players - not necessarily expensive gold diggers but hungry players like Azpilicueta, Ba, SISSOKO.. there are bargains out there.
  14. Game's definitely not under control by Coward Web.
  15. 2-2 better than 0-1, we were in worse situation - what a game and hopefully we can get something out of this nailbiter.
  16. SICK, WHAT A SHOW OF SPIRIT BY CHELSEA!
  17. That's been our thing for years now, mate. We blame everyone else except ourselves and players. We specialize on ripping into managers and then whining why noone wants to manage us.
  18. So newcastle players are incredible shit, it's just that Pardew worked his magic? By lacking luck i mean Ba getting a boot in his brain and not being awarded a penalty, Lampard and Ba missing good chances, we being tormented by injuries and bench being as thin as paper.
  19. What the hell? Do you realise his contribution this game? One good chance for Ba, giving ball away numerous of times (1-2 of which gave newcastle a simple 1 on 1 with Cech, thanks to the big man we are still in this), missing a great chance to take us to lead.
  20. Did we use every ounce of luck we had last season? Because at the moment being behind after Newcastle's rugby tackles I find it gutting. So far only Cech has been good and Demba, but he is out. I mean I get that poor Bertrand is played out of position but he is a LEFT BACK, why on earth is he so fragile and shit in defending then? So dependent on his left foot. Can't say we deserve to be behind, but that's the story of our season.
  21. Cesar gets a well deserved rest and Ivan gives us more aerial threat defending/set pieces, JT is back but Bertrand and Oscar on wings don't really make me feel confident, both playing out of positions. I know we don't got much to do atm but having a go with Marin and/or Benayoun could be an option till Moses and Hazard return.
  22. Agree with this one. Rightly so fans are impatient with Rafa but if Jose came back, I can't see people booing him. Jose would notice his mistakes and somehow show his feelings to the crowd.
