  1. I will not even bother to google who that is.
  2. What does Mikel actually add to the team ? Can't provide cover on defense, is a poor tackler, poor at winning the ball back, best at losing the ball, poor at moving the ball forward, can't score goals. I remember a couple of years ago there were a crowd of crazies on here who thought Mikel was the shit. I used to tell everyone I know though that his only skill is to pass the ball back to the guy he gets it from. Mikel is the master of the backwards pass. Look at his passing and see what proportion are sideways or backwards passes and what proportion move the ball forward. Whenever he tries anything on offense he looks woefully out of place. He lost the ball for the third City goal doing God knows what. Out of the top 5 teams we have by far the worst central midfield and it is largely due to him. He has been poor for some while now and I don't understand why this club takes so long to clear deadwood ? Surely, we the fans are not the only ones to see how poor he is ? Yet year after year we have to deal with this nonsense, like we had to do with Kalou, who only stayed so long because he was actually a relation of Roman. On the one hand you pay 50m for Torres, and big money for unknown youngsters who you'll never play in the first team, and on the other you refuse to replace a position we've been woeful in for a long while. Infuriating, to say the least. I'm sorry if I appear hateful or anything. We are making half decent midfields look like Barcelona with him out there. If he was simply a squad player and was starting because we were short due to injuries, I'd understand this. But he is rewarded year after year for doing nothing at all. All the ruckus after stealing him from United and he has not improved at all in his time here. Apart from attacking midfield, in what positions are we actually better than our rivals ? Not in defense, not in central midfield, not in strikers. We finished 6th and then 3rd in the league only two points ahead of Arsenal. I really don't see us being much better next season, unless we bring in at least 3 quality players.
  3. Why can't he properly speak English though ? Him and Carragher I can never understand what they're saying.
  4. Mikel would make such a great jogging partner. Effortlessly glides around the pitch like a gazelle. As for Torres, I'm convinced one day he'll just start suddenly braying in the middle of a game, and we'll find out that Liverpool actually sold us a donkey disguised as Torres.
  5. Next season will be full of misery. City are already light years ahead of us and will only add more world class players like Cavani etc while we'll have the noose of Mikel on our necks.
  6. We have huge problems next season. Neither defense, central midfield or forward positions are up to scratch.
  7. Mikel is having a shocker. Looking like a pub player, which he is.
  8. I will throw a party the day we are rid of Mikel.
  9. This isn't playstation. Shaw isn't in the discussion because he'll cost a shit load more. Coentrao and Bertrand can fight it out for the succession to Ashley's high throne.
  10. Trending on twatter. Headed to Madrid apparently.
  11. Chelsea set to miss out on Edinson Cavani, Robert Lewandowski and Falcao Chelsea face a summer of frustration in the transfer market, as their top striking targets look like playing elsewhere next season. With Jose Mourinho expected to be confirmed as their new manager shortly after his last game in charge of Real Madrid on June 1, a shortlist of forwards has already been drawn up and are being pursued. They include Radamel Falcao, Robert Lewandowski and Edinson Cavani but all three appear to be heading elsewhere at present. Lewandowski, who is set to play for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League Final against Bayern Munich on Saturday, has just one year left on his contract. But his side are determined to keep him for another season, even if it means they miss out on a £25million transfer fee. Coach Jurgen Klopp said: “There is no topic of Lewandowski’s transfer right now. The rest of the team and I talk and think only about the final. “My conclusion is that Robert is not leaving and he will play here for the next season and I will be able to use him. That is why I don’t want to even think about to which club he may fit better.” Even if Dortmund officials have a change of heart, it is understood the Poland international has told the club he wants to join Bayern Munich rather than Chelsea. The Blues had hoped to capitalise on Dortmund’s anger with Bayern over the transfer of Mario Gotze to agree a deal for Lewandowski. Dortmund were furious with the rivals over the way they signed Gotze just before the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. Yet Lewandowski, who scored four goals against Mourinho’s Madrid, has set his sights on moving to Bayern whether it be this summer or next. Atletico Madrid star Falcao has been on Chelsea’s wishlist for some time but speculation continues that he will be bought by Monaco in view of then switching to Real Madrid next year. It would be the only way for Real to sign the Colombia international because Atletico are determined not to sell him to their fierce rivals. Real are also threatening to beat Chelsea to another of their summer targets, as they are believed to have begun negotiations with Malaga over highly-rated midfielder Isco. Meanwhile, Napoli said earlier this week they are in talks with Manchester City over a swap deal which will see Edinson Cavani transferred to the Etihad and Edin Dzeko go the other way. As things stand, it leaves Chelsea with few options, which is why they have begun looking at Bayern’s Mario Gomez as an alternative. Chelsea see signing a top striker as key to launching a title challenge next term because while the much-maligned Fernando Torres scored 22 goals this term, just eight came in the Premier League. Their January signing Demba Ba managed just two goals in 14 League appearances following his £7.5m switch from Newcastle. Should the club fail to improve their options up front, it would increase the chances of Romelu Lukaku, who scored 17 goals on loan at West Brom, being part of the first-team squad. Meanwhile, Juan Mata insists he does not need a rest. The Spaniard played more games than any other Chelsea player during their marathon 69-game season and is currently on the club’s post-season tour to America before competing for Spain in the Confederations Cup. He said: “In the summer we will have a rest but now we are still focused on playing football. If I’m in the national squad I will get a rest in July.” http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-set-to-miss-out-on-edinson-cavani-robert-lewandowski-and-falcao-8629000.html
  12. He must be absolutely set on going to Barcelona if no other club is in the race despite such a low bid. Otherwise we would be in the race since we were willing to pay much more for him before. Plus there is also a huge Brazilian contingent here. Ramires, Luiz and Oscar would surely help him transition to life in London.
  13. Hahaha the joke is on Santos! Remember when we were offering them a lot more for him and they rejected it ? All they did now was to pay him massive wages for him to leave for much less.
  14. Oh damn, sometimes I forget Kalou has actually left. The horror lol.
  15. lol. I don't think one person should ever have that much authority. Mourinho made a lot of mistakes when he was here, especially with regards to transfers. Emenalo is doing a good now in regards to that and I would not like the club to cede control of transfers over to Mourinho. Mourinho was very good for us but remember how bad things went in that last year and a half ? Bitter tears were leaking from the anuses of every supporter towards the end. If Mourinho says suddenly one day that he wishes to get rid of Hazard Abramovich would purchase another Ferrari as a parting gift. Adios ! Now if he says he wants to get rid of Torres or Kalou he has my 100% backing in regards to that.
  16. Would Mourinho have your backing to throw poo in your face ?
  17. Don't worry guys, Gomez is available.
  18. Defense wins trophies, but I don't see us substantially improving our defense. Luiz is good but not great, and so is Cahill. Same with Mikel. The defense requires too big of an overhaul for it to be the solution.
  19. You seem to be an obvious fool. Why do you keep on drawing parallels to the 2005/2006 season ? Do you know we had the best defense in the league that season ? We conceded only 22 goals ! Torres is worse than Drogba was that season since he can't provide any of Drogba's build up play (Drogba was the assist leader). John Terry was actually in the PFA shortlist for Player of the Year. Nothing is similar to that season here. We are worse and our competitors are much better. Any person with an ounce of sense would understand that efficiency is related to chances wasted. But you somehow thought of the groundkeepers, no doubt because you have a job somewhere cleaning poo off of grounds.
  20. First of all nothing is preventing United and City from adding goals from midfield. They will both get new midfielders and keep on improving. Also I'd rather have Cavani or Falcao here scoring 25 goals than 10 goals from Torres and 15 more goals from Mata/Hazard etc since they'll do it more efficiently. Remember even Suarez has scored many goals despite being a terrible finisher because he just keeps on shooting till he scores. Remember all those drawn games this season, and the horrible perofrmances of Torres. If we had Cavani or Falcao those would have been wins.
  21. Just having fun. I don't really think he'll come. Though I don't understand why he's supposedly choosing Monaco over us. Don't worry, we have Torres (ha).
  22. People complain that there is too much spending in the EPL but see clubs like Bayern etc don't have to spend when they have 16 feeder clubs in their league.
