  1. i thought the whole team was amazing yesterday.... sign of things to come?
  2. he made on mistake yesterday lost his marker for the swansea goal and people are on his case......dont see people attacking cole when nani roasted him in the man u game. anyway i think he has been good this season
  3. they realized that without im at the dm position, we are screwed
  4. he was good yesterday. recio, the guy playing ahead of him was a passenger yesterday so everything went thru oriol.
  5. coulda gone for santi carzola before malaga did. experienced enough and versatile too
  6. it really is. kinda like fight club ed norton sooting himself to kill brad pitt
  7. wow this post suggest you dont ever watch chelsea play. mikel is a good passer a fairer criticism might be that he is conservative with his passing, more lateral passes than forward ones. he is a good tackler, positionally aware. josh would not make it as a defensive midfielder. he not a good tackler and his skill set is better used elsewhere. he hasnt been poor this pre season esp. in the last game. he played well with good passing and broke the play well enough. i thought josh and him played well against the thai 11. if you gonna complain about a midfielders passing look at lampard who seems to have forgotten how to pass. he keeps on giving the ball away regularly these days. by the way passing doesnt make a dm. makelele was never a good pass and neither is mascherano. have you ever seen david luiz play in midfield???
  8. if romeu will sign after colombia it certainly wont be in the next ten days. the competition hasnt started yet ant it finishes on the 20th of aug. so most likely romeu wont be one or them
  9. yep the spanish, french and the argies look strong
  10. it was more like they couldnt sign pro contracts till they were 18 in spain, so man u and arse poached them....and it was before the comeback of barca
  11. he is one-footed...and it isnt ideal in a central midfielder...he should really improve on using his right foot
  12. i reckon we have no need to replace essien. however what we need is a bit of creativity. although i honestly think our forward players need to improve on their movement too. you could place a xavi in our midfield las season and he will be shit. i believe this had alot to do with the misplaced passes last season. ramires could replace essien but for alot his speed and hussle, he seriously needs to improve on his ball control abit more composure and his passing and learning to tackle well wont kill him either. mikel needs to improve offensively, his touch and passing is good but he seems reluctant to take on players. lampard needs to find the sharpness in his passing.....he isnt as mobile so...will have to rely on passing now. i reckon benayoun should be the most forward of our midfielders sort of like ineista at barca.
  13. its not just my because he is my compatriot....i have faith in the people that run the club.......i take what they do in good faith unless proven otherwise. i have no qualms with any of the appointments made
  14. fine be skeptical.....by the way , the only person i compared him with was arnesen. the others were just to prove to you that u dont need any coachin experience to be director of football. but y would it be ludacris to compare him to them?
  15. our head coach is also inexperienced in coaching.....just two seasons. winning the europa league does not automatically bestow years worth of experience
  16. no he was coaching both girls and boys. women football is ahead of men in the us. the womens team is on of the world best.
  17. why does he need to have experience in coach? never knew arnesen was a coach or comolli ,bergistain, Zubizarreta, rui costa at benfica or secco at juve. for that matter. he was head scout before becoming an assistant coach just as frank arnesen was. how sure are u he cant manage talented youths?
  18. people just hate him as they reckon he took wilkins job...funnily enough there is no animosity towards paul clement. just becuase u dont know him before does not mean he is unknown in footballing circles, which is where his job demands for him to be known. young players are convinced to sign for clubs by wat plans the club has for them rather than who was sent to sign them. also i guess most of our transfers from when he took over the head scout job from arnesen could be considered his signing just as the ones before him were considered arnesen's. thats just my opinion
  19. overwhelming 1.deco i couldnt believe mourinho didnt bring him ti the bridge when he came 2 crespo was a fan of him...i still think he had decent stats for his time here 3 torres was just surreal...didnt think it would happen...i still believe he'll come good underwhelming 1 cech.....did not think he would just take over from cudicini the way he did...a pleasant suprise 2 smertin.....i sorta just noticed we had him cant remember us buying him 3 lampard......i never dreamt he would be as good as he became...another pleasant suprise
  20. i guess villa, keita, pique, alves, mascherano all bought themselves then.......if you look at rijkaards barca ull notice its different to pep......rijkaards depended on ronaldinho's trickery...he was the playmaker and was defensively poor.....peps is more sound defensively, xavi is now the playmaker and the press much better now
  21. hmm the club should do everyone a favor and just appoint a manager.....chelsea has a habit of dragging things too long...be it players or manager.....we never settle our transfers early...never
