Modric would be perfect for our midfield. The biggest problem of our midfield last season was it didn't connect our back to forward well, felt like completely disjointed. None of our current DMs have the ability to keep possession well, to distribute well, to dictate the tempo of the game well. Modric fits the bill flawlessly. The myth about a player needs to be physically mega strong to play at DM is really outdated. Yes Modric is relatively "weak" compares to the likes of Yaya Toure, Essien, etc. But thanks to his agility his dispossession and interception ability are rather good. In football you just need to nick the ball instead of knocking over the opponent you know! In addition, you really can't fault his workrate and stamina, this guy just keeps running the whole match. I will say 120% yes to sign Modric. People who thinks he is not good enough to be our DM is completely deluded.
