He definitely is ready to play. I think people are selling him a bit short here, he just came off a marvellous season at Atletico and has been one of the worlds best full backs the last few seasons. I don't think the reason he hasn't started yet is due to adaption and fitness and so what but purely because of how solid Azpilicueta and Ivanovic has been. He can come straight into the side in any game when Jose thinks its time to rest Azpi/Ivanovic.

Who cares if he had a bad 8 months. Yeah he had a bad first half but so did everyone else. The only thing important is that he is starting to perform now. If you're going to keep dwelling on his past, what about the first half of last year when was brilliant?

It's best for us as a club to keep Cech for another year. Having one of the best keepers in the world as a backup and tutoring Courtois about the Premier league. For Cech on the other hand, is way too good to be backup to anyone and deserves to play every game. I think we owe it to Cech to let him leave if that is what he desires. Schwarzer has also shown he is a reliable 2nd choice when we do need him. Regardless of what happens he'll always be a Chelsea legend and one of the best keeper the Premier League has ever seen.

Good player but he'll cost a lot of money and isn't exactly needed. Some fans will never be happy and still call for more signings even if we did sign him. I wouldn't complain though if we did sign him.

I would consider a swap for Heskey a good deal!

Don't see any reason to mix up the team too much for this game. The only change I think should be Luis in for Azpi. We're at home so it should be ideal for his debut. I'm not too worried, we got the quality to get all 3 points.

What a stunning team goal finished by him today. The entire buildup to the goal was executed perfectly, from Hazard's dribble, Ivanovic's cross, Fabregas' half volley through ball, to Schurrle's run and finish. Surely a contender for goal of the season already.

My MOTM goes to Cesc. Special mention to Ivanovic also who played a big part in all the goals and also Diego Costa. Overall solid performance from the team!

Such a joy to watch. We're like a well oiled machine. Fabregas really is a class act. His passing range and vision are phenomenal.

Strong team. I don't think it will be the easiest game but with this team we really shouldn't be afraid of Burnley. Lets hope for the 3 points!

Cannot believe the amount of deluded fans over on RAWK. They actually think the whole world is against them. They knew exactly what they were getting into when they signed him. Even after the racism row and the bite on Ivanovic, they still decide to keep him. Silly club.

I still can't believe he has bitten some again lol, in front of the whole world. He brings stupidity to a whole new level. Hopefully he gets whats coming to him.

So sad to see him go. A true living legend that won't ever be replaced. Let's hope his spirit lives on in the iconic Chelsea number 8 and sets the standard for all those who wear it in the future. Good luck and thank you.

I guess they really do hate us. Imagine they didn't interfere and all parties respected the contract, the media would be out in full force saying how 'unsportsman' we are. Yet if Athletico go back on their word and play him, there would be nothing.

I literally feel sick. Heart was beating like crazy. What a performance by the boys. Loved it when Jose ran to celebrate with the team and then started giving everyone instructions for the last few minutes. Little stuff like that makes him a winner!
