  1. Thought about writing something but you've covered all the points. Brilliant posts, love the attitude and couldn't agree more.
  2. Love the result and love the positive atmosphere here, good result all-around. Voted Willian as MOTM but Hazard was on fire aswell. Let's build on it.
  3. Let's reverse it, you think tactics that swept the league last season all of a sudden don't work anymore? I'm not saying Mourinho is not to blame, of course he is, but the biased and absolutely naive way of thinking that everything will be fine and we'll be playing like Bayern, as soon as Mourinho goes, is not just short-term but straight up dumb. Look at the games this season, analyze them, we're creating tons of chances - those chances are created based on Mourinho's tactics - but we're missing sitters, amaterus would score those, now tell me honestly, is it Mourinho's fault? All the stuff about Fabregas and Ivanovic, they are not that bad, people just jump on the bandwagon and dig up meaningless statistics to rubbish our own players, we should be behind the club, not whine and moan all the time. Things have been improving every game, despite the results.
  4. He loses it? You're forgetting a little detail here - there's 11 players on the pitch wearing Chelsea kit and Mourinho is not one of them. But I'll tell you what would be a problem, let's say Mourinho is let go, and we start playing better instantly, now then we have a problem, a real one. This player power is going out of control, I understood it to some extent when we had strong characters and club icons like Cech, Lampard, Ballack, Drogba and so on playing, but right now we have tons of individuals, can't name even one team player who'd give his all for the team, not one.
  5. Just for laughs? Wow. Anyway on topic, I thought we played well, especially the first half, second half our creativity died, ideas ran out. You could sense blood but we just couldn't get it in, had tons of chances - easy chances, credits to Boruc and Bournemouth. I do think, however, we should have been awarded a penalty, leaving an arm trailing like that in a penalty box can not be accidental by any means, it was penalty any day of the week. We will keep seeing refereeing mistakes and talking points till we enter the 21st century and introduce video refereeing like it's done in hockey, which is a lot more technical and fast paced sport than football, I see no reason not to. Sacking Mourinho would solve absolutely nothing. Getting few new faces in in January will make all the difference, and we have to re-evaluate our objectives. Top4 is not the objective, and shouldn't be. We need a interim season with just the league to re-build and find the stability both physically and mentally. Long term, making top4 will damage us. As much as people like to slate Ivanovic, he wasn't bad yesterday, we fell short because of combination between awful finishing and great keeping. Hazard, while being amazing movement wise in the first half, has to be the weakest finisher amongst players of his calibre. Costa needs anger management, I wouldn't have been surprised if ref sent him off (I would have sent him off) after his reaction to first yellow, he has to go, simple-as. In my eyes it all comes down to the fact that we lack leaders, and Mourinho's philosophy is so much connected to having leaders within dressing room, we have none.
  6. Brilliant display and have to give a mention to their goalkeeper, Predrag Rajkovic, he kept them in it for quite a long time, well played.
  7. Absolutely shocking. So many innocent lives lost. This is the direct result of US-Germany-France spearheaded multi-culture tolerance propaganda, unnecessary involvement in wars in the Middle-East and resulting influx of refugees to Europe. Millions of them, and there is noone who can say what their intentions are. European Union is dictating how many of the refugees we have to take in, I understand the concept but it is not a solution nor does islamic values match the conservative and largely atheistic population of Estonia. This can not happen. Let's not forget christianity was brought into Europe with blood and sword, history repeats itself with islam. Unfortunately this is just the start unless politicians change the crash course we're heading to. The small fracture of terrorists are stereotyping the word "islam". Sad times, let's all light a candle. Rest in peace, we're all with you.
  8. That's called confidence. You're confident enough to admit that, on that day, we lost to a better team. That doesn't mean anything more than that, no need to draw far reaching conclusions. Not proud of the result at all, but I can accept it, I can digest it. We've absolutely smashed teams over the years, does that make them bad teams? No, just bad luck, bad day, bad moment. They're still, objectively speaking, a great team. We've had this defensive counter attacking apporoach to our game for so long, that's how we lucked out way to Champions League trophy, you know you're against a better team (which Barcelona, Bayern were that year), we had tons of injuries, suspensions and you just hang on and wait for your moment to strike. That's the plan, that's the approach. Is it the right way to go long term? Probably not, but you work with what you have. Like the saying goes: sitast saia ei tee (translated from Estonian: you can't make bread out of shit).
  9. I understand where you're coming from and partly agree, but they've got quite a few players who can make things happen from nothing, technical, quick, gifted players who are for the most part on their prime, very much like our team 8-9 years ago. But to call them average? Disagree with you there mate, they're right near the top in Europe, wouldn't be surprised if they'd go for semis or even final given their squad keeps fit.
  10. Of course I do, but in that situation you've got to stand up and say the best team won. That's what I'm saying, no shame in losing to a better team and given the scoreline, we worked hard to defend and fight it till end not to lose by a bigger margin.
  11. You make it sound as if we lost by huge margin, we went out on away goals. PSG are a great team, with arguably more consistent and overall better constructed team, no shame in losing to them.
  12. Not strengthening in January would be madness, whoever is in charge. At this point we've got nothing to lose and money is the last of our worries. It's not an option.
  13. Being free in attack and having no attacking plan are completely different things.
  14. Coming out of the hole we're in isn't going to happen in one game. It comes gradually. And I don't know which game you were looking, probably Arsenal's, but first half we dominated them totally. A little better movement in the box and it could have been 4-0 at half time. This kind of killer instinct and confidence is just matter of time. Eden Hazard was on fire when he came on, even only that is a big big plus for us. Last night was a step in the right direction. Proud of the result, of the performance and of the support.
  15. It's like saying every footballer on this earth is only playing good to earn a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
  16. Matter of taste. I personally love physical old-school football which involves defending. Can't imagine us playing with army of dwarfs doing tika-taka 80% possession. It's just silly. Defending is as beautiful art as is attacking, it just requires some insight knowledge and experience to recognize it. How come Atletico aren't boring? They're just as defensive counter-attacking team as we are and we're rumored to be looking at Simone? So in that sense you're right, its the mentality that's keeping us back. And it really doesn't matter who it is or why he is trying to sabotage our squad, our manager, it's unacceptable. Could you imagine this kind of behaviour in an office type of work environment, unthinkable. Whoever it is, has to be gone on the second transfer window opens.
  17. It's obviously all made up. Ask yourself this: how would some attention-seeking journalists know information like that and not Mourinho? Why would he stay if he is "gone regardless of the upcoming results" and endure the humiliation? If that would be the case he'd resign, would be much better PR from his stand point.
  18. That's up for debate. But surely the league title and League Cup he won for us FIVE MONTHS ago won't be his last pieces of silverware in his career. This squad won't win Champions League regardless of who is in charge, it's obvious. For me, Mourinho has done exceptional work protecting the squad from media by taking all the fire on himself, all the blame on himself, even if its passively. He is a smart man and knows how to play the media, and is doing so well yet again. How many articles have you read about our player's absolutely shocking form, basic errors and apalling work rate? The ratio versus articles slating Mourinho is a joke. He has made himself a big target and as a consquence is getting the biggest share of the "blaim", which is misleading. Hearing match going fans continously sing his name was really good to hear and luckily shows the true atmosphere amongst the majority of fans in the Bridge and demonstrates that people can analyze things for themselves, not develop a stance based on toxic reports written by journalists who base facts on Twitter or "inside info".
  19. That, or because he is one of the, if not the most, decorated manager in recent footballing history?
  20. Like any international brand, I'm sure Chelsea has more legal battles going on constantly regarding funding, legislation, image rights, violations, claims and so on, I don't see why this is any different other than getting ridiculous amount of media attention. The sad part is that people actually believe the hype, gullible and sad at the same time.
  21. Needed to win? We won a title 5 months ago.
  22. That's retrospective wisenosing. Who would have thought Fabregas' form dips that much? Who would have thought last years' POTY is that horrific this season? Matic dropping form and so on. Only mistake he has really made in my eyes is selling Felipe Luis, that's that.
  23. AVB can't be compared to Mourinho, not status wise and not situation wise. Did Di Matteo really turn it around? We finished 6th and not to sound disrespectful, but winning Champions League was a combination of pure luck and certain players stepping up.
  24. Only astonishing thing about that is how did Hazard get to play even that long. Contributed a round zero.
