  1. Christ that Mata is some player. I've been really impressed with you lot this season and actually think you can do it - let's hope so. Great result yesterday, but today's obviously the biggest game of the weekend. Just leaving the house now for a couple of pre-match pints - wish us luck!!
  2. I've got an awful feeling the dirty mags will finish 4th. Would be fantastic if you stopped them from getting into the CL
  3. Proud to be English Unbelievable game - right up there with the 73 cup final....
  4. Proud to be English Unbelievable game - right up there with the 73 cup final....
  5. I'm in bits here, Christ knows what you's are going through
  6. Congratulations lads, what a performance We should have beaten both scouse teams - we would have hammered you in the Final
  7. Don't want to be dis-respectful, because I remember watching Hillsborough unfold on the TV and being in tears but what do Liverpool expect after the way they've gone on this season? _ especially the Suarez debacle with the T-Shirts etc. They'll always be some idiots who'll spoil it (I was at Old Trafford this season when Ferguson got the stand named after him and some Sunderland fans spoiled the minutes applause or whatever it was). Anyway, to lighten the mood, this always makes me laugh.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/4372230.stm
  8. Well done, keeps the English in there:) If we beat Everton on Saturday it's been a canny week.
  9. Gerrin - brilliant this! Keep it tight lads
  10. Just thought you might be interested... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=644835 and did you see what I did the with the cockney rhyming slang and mind, I'll not be happy if you let the mags in for 4th
  11. I like the look of him. He's very direct and just keeps taking players on, also got an end product (gets his cross in and has already scored a couple of goals). I don't understand how Bruce could bring him to the club but not play him, he must be gutted now - he might have saved him from the bullet. O'neill saw enough in his first training session to give him a go - says it all really.
  12. Dowd - fair enough I think you could have had a penalty although Torres was definitely looking for it (never a booking though), but Bendtner got barged into as well and I've seen them given (Ashley Cole I think?). Things do sort of even out throughout the season (did you see the Everton one given against us when he kicked the ground?). I hope we can keep hold of Sess as MON really seems to have given him a new lease of life. But I wouldn't be surprised if Harry starts playing his games (he's a triffic player and I'd love to see him at the Lane etc etc ).
  13. Have to agree with you there, I can't see O'Neill putting up with him. If we'd had a bad run under him and were still in the relegation places we would have went out this month and spent 20-30 mill, but I've got a feeling we'll keep our powder dry until the close season - we'll not go down.
  14. That's a very good question mate. Just watched the match with a mate and we discussed this - he wants him back but I don't. Thing is it was an unbelievable deal for us, we got £6mill for the year and he's ours still. I honestly think that O'Neill will be tempted but he's actually not that prolific. I'd rather have Bent back (and that's said through gritted teeth believe you me!). He's more what we need, he would have put one of todays chances away.
  15. Bugger. If we'd had a proper striker we would have got something from that. You lot had plenty of possession and probably more chances - but we had the more clear cut ones Swansea nad Norwich at home for our next 2 games - play like we did today and we'll be ok. See you next time - and good luck, hope you at least get into the top 4.
  16. Yes, I've been invited into the posh seats for that one so really looking forward to it. For a club like us the cups are now the only realistic way of winning anything so it's great to see MON taking it seriously (had a full strength tram out last week at Peterborough). Get yourself to the game - it will be a bit lively
  17. We haven't got him! But I know where you're coming from with Malouda.
  18. Blue Armour - if you really want to help us buy Ba!
  19. Can't knock Bruce too much as it's his team. A lot of supporters wanted rid of players such as Gardner and Cattermole but they've been transformed under MON. The main thing is we're scoring again - 9 different players have scored in MONs games. Having said that, this is our hardest game so far so I'd snap your hands off for a point now to keep the run going.
  20. for your annual tonking. Seriously, what are your thoughts on this weekends game? I think this is as good as any time to play you especially since we seem to have finally found a bit of form. I hope McClean plays as he's got no fear - very direct and could cause you problems. Anyway good luck for the rest of the season (after this weekend)
  21. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=629383 Footballs a funny old game - we're at it now
  22. I've just watched your highlights and it looks like you played quite well. What a miss by Torres mind... We outplayed Stoke from start to finish - and it's total bollocks to say they've changed and play proper football now. All they did was play for throw-ins and freekicks so they can do their usual route one stuff. And as for a few on here saying that we have bought Man U rejects - can we have some more please? Brown an O'Shea were class
