He has to score. It doesn't matter how good he performs. I'd rather see him play bad and score a goal, than see him play well and fail to score again. A striker should score, that's a striker's job. The defenders and the midfielders have to play well, strikers must score. If he plays well but fails to score, everyone will still be saying: 'he's not worth the money he was bought for', 'he's not as good as he used to be' etc etc.

If Torres fails to score tonight, he will start being labelled as a flop, which I can't take. But he will score tonight, and twice. Mark my words.

I honestly think that you've exaggerated it a bit there. How come you won't miss Drogba if he leaves? He's been one of our best strikers for many years now and he's scored so many important goals for us, without him we defnitely wouldn't be this successful. He's been a key player to the team for years. But I agree though, recently he's become sort of arrogant and selfish.

Torres is worth even more than we paid him for. He's the best striker in the world and comparing players like Mario Gomes to him is ridiculous. I doubt Gomez is worth 20 million, let alone 36.

I'm very worried. If we don't get the CL spot, that would be quite embarrassing. With the squad we have we can't let ourselves play in the Europa League for gods sake. This is why, if we fail to be in the CL next season Carlo should definitely be sacked. Players seem not to be very interested either. It's their job, they're trained to play football and win. They don't have to cook, wash cars or cut hair, all they have to do is go out there and give their best on the pitch, which they haven't in many games. It's a shame, never thought we'd be in such position in the table after we won the double, it sucks. I really cannot wait for the Fulham game, I think that a win over Fulham would help things a lot. The boys better not screw it up again.
