  1. Alright people, chin up. The club sacked the manager, but it's not the end of the world. I admit that I was not Carlo Ancelotti's number 1 fan, but I did support him all the time. We are all thankful to him for the double last year and the good memories, but this season has been a real disaster for Chelsea Football Club. Therefore, nobody in Earth, nor Carlo himself would be able to guarantee Abramovich and the board that next season would be different. After the huge disappointment and the pressure on him this season, failing next season as well would be highly likely. Ancelotti himself says that it is difficult to regain confidence and form once you lose it, but that's a coach's job, isn't it? We should be looking at the positives. Carlo left now, and the majority of the fans have great respect for him and love the man. Had he stayed for one more season, and without spending on big names in the summer as he was constantly claiming, it would be highly likely that we would fail once again. Then, Carlo and Avram Grant would be no different to Chelsea fans. He won us the double last year, let it stay in our memories forever. The fans want a new era at Stamford Bridge, and a new coach is the key. Therefore, I think that the club did the right thing. Keep the faith. Hopefully Champions of England and Europe next season.
  2. Because Villas-Boas is likely to stay with Porto - same about Mourinho, I choose Hiddink. But the next manager must know that even if he gets a double in his first season, he will not be guaranteed the job next season if he fails to repeat the same. So whoever becomes the new Chelsea manager, he will be under huge pressure. I'm really hoping that the club chooses the right man for the job.
  3. Fuck, Wigan, Blackburn and Wolves stay up, I wanted at least one of these to go down. Wigan and Blackurn are the most depressing teams in the league, whenever we play them away I'm like half-asleep.
  4. Thanks for the memories Carlo. I don't want to have that depressing feeling everytime the camera focuses you.
  5. Any streams? Mine just went down.
  6. What a boring first half that was. It will finish 0-0 in the end no doubt.
  7. It hurts me not to see Drogba in a Chelsea shirt anymore. At least Anelka is playing, hoping he leaves with a goal. Go Nico!
  8. No, you're not. I have a strong feeling that we will win. Carlo would rather leave with a win, and Drogba, Anelka and co. will give their very best knowing that this could be their last game for the club. I'll predict a crazy 0-3.
  9. Would love it if he came back. He's a brilliant manager.
  10. Just noticed that it happened exactly three years ago, the Moscow final.
  11. Torres back to Liverpool. Probably this is where he feels at home and he could net a goal or two He has done it in Goodison before.
  12. I think that Grant is one of the most unluckiest managers in football. I know that it's stupid to continue with the 'What ifs', but had we not conceded so late against Wigan in the league and had Terry scored that penalty, we would have won both the league and Champions League and Grant would remain a legendary name for Chelsea Football Club forever. Last season Boateng missed the penalty in the FA Cup final, probably had he scored things would've been completely different, but Grant has no luck at all. In my opinion, Chelsea are the unluckiest team and Grant is the unluckiest manager, and when both were together, well you know what happened in 2008. Sometimes it just doesn't happen. But offering him a job in the club now is stupid me thinks. The fans have nothing but bitter and sad memories when the name Avram Grant is mentioned. I'm hoping to God we don't get him again.
  13. Haha, that one of Scholes is brilliant Found this the other day
  14. Ronaldo is a great footballer. No doubt the second best in the world. He's unstopabble when he's on his day.
  15. Meh. Had John Terry scored that penalty, everybody would be calling him a legend. I don't hate the man, but I don't want to see him returning at the club.
  16. A rest? What for? The season will end this weekend.
  17. Arsenal 4th, after being considered as serious title contenders until the final weeks of the season? How epic would that be.
  18. Where's Essien/Mikel? They're no doubt better than McEachran defensively. Benayoun, not good enough to be a starter imo. But I like the idea of playing Luiz as a defensive midfielder. And no matter what, the club should make big signings in the summer. We can't risk another trophyless season next year.
  19. Cech Luiz - Alex - Terry - Bertrand Mikel Essien - Lampard - Malouda/Zhirkov Anelka - Drogba
  20. Our strikers aren't the only problem, the whole team is the problem. Well, apart from Cech. No creativity in midfield, strikers failing to create opportunities (let alone shoot on target), terrible defending - how on earth can you leave a player free like that in the 92nd minute?
