While I sympathised with Matic when it happened because others deserved it more, I didn't sympathise looking at it in isolation, he was utterly abysmal when he came on. If AVB did that to Lamps when the player power stories were growing there would have been a wankfest on how he's "standing up to the players".
-
Because he keeps going down the fan boy route.I actually don't have a problem with anyone criticising Jose or even wanting him out (tbh purely for footballing reasons I'm shifting to that side of the fence aswell), but he has made a massive impact at this club and there will be some people that can't let go that easy (exactly the Same thing happened with Dalglish in 2012 at Liverpool). What I was going to ask him I'll ask you, if Zola came back as manager and didn't do well, would You hold back on the critiscm a bit compared to other managers due to the emotional connection you have with him? I know I would with him or any off my favroites, and how would you feel if you got branded a fanboy for that? My favroite players tho, Drogba, Terry and Zola, managers Mou and Vialli.
-
Scott Sinclair wasn't a tank and he would have probably got more chances if he didn't break his leg, by the time he got back Jose was gone and Abram didn't fancy him, RLC and Kennedy could face similar fate.
-
You didn't answer me the other day when I asked who your favroite person who has ever represented Chelsea Is? Preferably Someone who has made a significant impact at the club.
-
If he does leave soon, I reckon he will come back again for one last horrah before retiring from club footy and going into management. If he can't turn this around his ability as a long term coach would be exposed for all to see, but want instant success and Jose is you're man, that will guarantee him top level jobs for the rest of his career. Also I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want his last action at Chelsea to be this shitstorm, your last action for a club can actually have a significant say in what legacy you leave behind (ask Drogba) and I'm sure Jose would want to come back and right this wrong before he retires.

Eto'o was signed because Torres was shit, Ba wasn't trusted and we needed an experienced head to guide the young players. Our AMs that season were very young, having Lukaku up top to add to that would have made us the second coming of Liverpool's spice boys, Hazard went on record saying how much Eto'o helped his evolution as a player.
-
If Jose leaves here he will still have the pick of top jobs, that won't change.
-
Lukaku came on in 3 of those 4 games, Azpilicueta started one minute in those 4 games, Lukaku would have got more chances would probably have been alternating with Eto'o for the most part.
-
The last line pretty much sums up his time here and in Madrid. When things are good they are very good, that 7-0 vs Stoke is the best we have ever played but he his weaknesses are so off putting, everything that worried me about him getting the job in the first place was laid bare in the second season.
-
No one player is that big a problem, not even Ivanovic.
-
Mourinho deserves a lot of the blame I'm not trying to argue that, but even in previous Mourinho "dreaded 3rd season's" his sides have finished 2nd and got to cup finals. These group of players shouldn't be 15th even managing themselves, Mou deserves his fair share but no way should these players be let off the hook.
-
Didn't he out score all of them last season in terms of goal ratio? He might not be at his best right now, but let's not forget how good he is when he is on top form.
-
Ivan and Cesc are a problem but as today shown, they ain't even minor issues compared to the bigger picture. We have tried every single combination nearly in every area of the pitch and still look crap, that's why I haven't fully turned to the Jose out camp, you don't lost 1 home game in 99 then 3 in 5 purely because you've lost it, there's something fundamentally wrong with the whole side.
-
Comparing Torres favroubly against Eto'o was bad enough
-
RDM atleast had a promotion and PL expierence under his belt as manager, Steve Holland's only job as #1 so far was Crewe, and he failed badly.
-
That was because the league was shit, 71 points won't get top 4 most season's and even then, when we got to Old Trafford we handed them the most one sided title decider in history, the only reason we didn't get thrashed to a similar extent Arsenal did at that ground a few months later is Alex having the game of his life. Carlos teams are great on song, but his weaknesses are so off putting, with the situation were in now I'd rather take some wild gamble than bring Carlo back.
-
Remember Carlo kept playing Malouda and co despite rubbish performances. If you want the likes of Ivanovic and Cesc replaced, then Carlo isn't the man, if you think there untouchable now, they will have their place under lock and key with Ancelotti here.
-
I now fully know the extent of how Liverpool fans felt when Kenny started flaking. A club legend who has done so much for the club is sinking fast, proper heart vs head battle this one.

Marco Amelia is a true blue already

Madrid won nothing in Zidanes last two season's, he leaves, back to back titles.United 3 titles in a row, Van Nisseroy signs, only one title in 5, the Dutchman leaves, 3 titles in a row again. Chelsea, 4 trophies in 4 years, Hasselbaink arrives, nothing in four years, he leaves, 5 trophies in 3 years after that. Ballack is one of your favroite players isn't he? Joins Chelsea after back to back titles, we don't win it again for another 4. Reus, joins Dortmund after back to back titles, they haven't won it since. I do agree with some things you said but trying to use "team stats" against Cesc is just way too harsh, I have just made some top players sound rubbish using the same formula.

I don't think any one claims its 99% but people do lie about things like this and its a major problem, it ruins people's lives and because of women like that, actual rape victims can get punished by being branded liars and God knows what. An accquatiance of mine is so scared about being on the wrong end of it he turns the recorder on his phone on whenever he has a one night stand to be on the safe side. To be honest I don't know why lie detectors aren't a bigger player in the criminal justice system.
-
It's the biggest myth in football he wanted the United job, Fergie has poured frozen water all.over that. He might be interested in the future if circumstances were right but I don't believe for a second he was actively after it.
-
Not always, 10-11 we were riding our luck from the get go and it ran out mid November in spectacular style. Even in 12-13 we weren't very convincing despite winning well till THAT United game, only time in the 3 years between the double and Mous return we looked good performance wise was the early stages of AVB and a couple of isolated periods under Rafa.Even if the performances don't improve, we have far too much quality in this squad for results not too sooner rather than later, I'm not saying this hasn't been shit or we aren't in the doghouse because it has and we are, but look at Liverpool and Spurs last season, both were average at best and diabolically bad at worse but finished 6th and 5th respectively, over a 38 game season cream will always rise, at absolute worst we will finish 6th, maybe 7th if there's a Newcastle 11-12, Everton 13-14 style surprise package but below that? Won't happen.
-
I don't think City's run last season was as bad as ours, but the fact that the run was in the second half meant it didn't show in the table, like our previous shit run of results between 10-13.

If he can't start for a.single PL team then we might just have to face the reality that he will probably never make it. Ake was in the same position as Bamford at first but has now broken in, there has to be a point where the club doesn't get blamed and we have to accept the player is not good enough, if a player (especially striker) is good enough for Chelsea they would not only get into the Palace team but take them to whole new dimensions like Sturridge did for Bolton.
