Do we have to keep doing this? When Costa hits form again and a good goal run Pacquio will be commenting mocking you then vice versa when he has another bad run. It gets tedious after a while.
-
Willian free kick is becoming almost as famous as Gerrard pen.
-
Ummm, I remember that Villa game when Ba broke the offside record and he was endlessly trolled and abused on here for months, I even mention Remys offside tendancys (which was more than just vs Arsenal) and............. Plus its not "non love", if anything he gets away with It, Falcao and even Costa get murdered for poor games as did even Drogba last season and Ba and Eto'o before that, yet Remy can be as poor as he wants when he plays and his thread is left untouched, Newcastle away prime example, maybe because if it does get mentioned then it won't fit the narrative that he is creuely getting games snatched away from him.
-
I'm not sure, Bony is struggling there. Auba could have been like Anelka, played on the wing and Costas back up 2 in 1, because it was testament to Anelka we never really missed Drogba unless it was against Arsenal.
-
It's a shame he isn't really that good because if he was I can imagine Jose would have had a choice to make, as good as Bego has been shot stopping wise he hasn't organized the defence very well, I can imagine Marco would be screaming at them all the time.
-
We're not arguing, debates like these are what footy forums are.about. Costa isn't on his best form to say the least, but he's still had great games in the midst of it, I have barely noticed the other two unless they have scored.
-
I have seen snippets admittedly not great right now but more than I saw from Costa/Remy in the all be it limited time they have had together. I don't doubt Remy s ability to score but on the flip side, he has an awful decision making game, offside too often (something Ba got murdered for on here), and woeful in general play. I appreciate the vital goals he got last year, but he will never be a key player here and hopefully next summer him and Falcao will both be gone and we can bring in someone to challenge Costa tooth and nail for #1, Aubamaneng would be perfect but he wants to go to Spain.
-
He has got one more than Falcao, and that was against Walsall.
-
Probably, but the goal at Walsall is the only thing he has got over Falcao this season, other than that both have to their name an equalize is a game we went on to lose. Even a subpar Diego is still involved in games one way or another (despite his rough form this term he has still had outstanding games like WBA, Porto, Villa and to an extent Arsenal), Remy and Falcao have been horrible completely all season.
-
Falcao often gets the nod off the bench a fair bit because of his chemistry with Costa, and like I said above, Remy has hardly been making a case for himself this season whenever he does play and when it comes to starting games, he has got selected more times than Falcao.
-
Remy has started 4 games this season and been the worst player on the pitch in two of them.
-
This season he hasn't really deserved game time any more than Falcao.
-
We have been here before with Arsenal, they will bottle it in te buisness end.
-
Anyone notice that aside from Mou, Amelia was the most animated person on the dugout after the Lucas red that never was? (I think it was that decision).
-
Looking at it quality wise you are probably right, but I was more looking at the form in isolation. Can't argue with the mentality, their is only three players in this squad with a true winners mentality for me and one of them is out until Christmas.
-
League success within a year at most two, he's done that at every club, if you are at the top domestically but need to makethe jump in Europe, Jose is proven in that (Inter or Porto), if you are 2nd/3rd best in the league and want to eclipse the best team, he in Jose (knocked Arsenals invincible and Peps Barca off their perch). Arsenal themselves are a team that could be tempted by Jose, if Wenger leaves without a league title since 2004 a club like Arsenal will want to end that drought soon, Jose will nearly guarentee one. Also I can see him here for a 3rd time, he won't want his last moment at this club to be this shitstrorm and unlike this time, we will know its only for a couple of years, so unless we have found "our Fergie" by then, I can definitely see it happening.
-
If Mourinho gets sacked here, his ability to manage long term will be exposed for all to see, but he's still the best around in getting instant success, want that and Jose is you're man, it might even get him a 3rd spellhere before he retires.
-
Not attack wise but defensively we need a major rebuild, only Zouma, Cesar and Baba if he improves out of the current bunch should be in the squad long or even medium term never mind the first Xl.
-
Abramovic will face the backlash if it means doing what he believes is best, sacking Jose will probably have some people up in arms but would be nothing compared to the toxic atmosphere replacing RDM with Rafa caused.
-
Pre season was when it hit me this season would be a bit shit for te standards set by the board/Roman (i didn't think it would ever have been this bad), I don't usually take much out of friendlys but something just wasn't right. I didn't think before pre season our lack of transfers would hurt us immediately, constant failure to evolve a winning squad usually catches up with you after about 3-4 years, like it did with our last great team.
-
He has been tho, but he was never the reason our overall defence is so bad, I mean we broke defensive records in Joses first coming with fullback positions being the chink in our armour.
-
Not that I would ever cheer an opposition against Chelsea, but dropping to the Ropey league could be the best chance of us in the CL next season.
-
Tbh I kind of like our system with the assistants, we usually have a club assistant and the manager chooses one for himself, which gives both parties a sense of stability when there's parting company. And I may be alone but I didn't think there were that big signs of this last season, we just played the footy in the first half and got it done in the second, Fergie had many of these type of seasons in reverse, I never thought we wouldn't win whereas now we can have Bournemouth at home next up and I'd strongly fear defeat.
-
Both wanted to try the long term route, but it hasn't worked out. I wouldn't even mind a 3rd spell for a couple of years before he retires, as much as I think its probably best for him to leave now, it would be a shame if Mous last ever action for Chelsea was this shit storm after everything we have achieved together.
-
I don't think there deliberately sabotaging results, but if players are suffering emotionally, mentally or with relationships with colleges or anything it's not something that can be switched off, trust me i know that as much as anyone.
