I've genuinely never seen Spurs fans shit on the club as often as some of you on here. This use to be the best forum on the net now the atmosphere is completely toxic.
-
Overall no but this seasons Sarri >>>>> last seasons Conte.
-
The desperation to make out we have somehow flunked our way to a 3rd place finish because everyone is garbage, even though we're 3rd in current form and our points are would see a usual top 4 finish us staggering, why are so many Chelsea wanting to constantly talk anything Chelsea related down. Its so f**king weird.

No I'm sorry but you do not make such improvements on your game by just playing, if a manager came in and told him to just do whatever he would still be the same flawed player who doesn't make enough impact on a game. At the start of the season Sarri was constantly calling over Ruben for instructions and he's been slowly getting better game by game.
-
I weren't talking about that I was talking about the quote he allegedly doesn't care about youth. He's always had talent but he was very raw as early as last summer, you don't make the strides he has this season without the manager having something to do with it, he's literally improved in every aspect of his game.
-
Do you have the quote?
-
That's exactly what I mean, there's always an excuse to try and downplay what he's doing. Saying it's media pressure is again nonsense, if he was bowing to media pressure then why isn't Kante at DM? Ruben looks ten times the player he did last summer, better positioning, better spacial awareness, more end product, more impact of games, whether your Sarri in or Sarri out he should be getting universal praise for Loftus development.
-
The mental gymnastics created to make Sarri the villian of the piece for even the good stuff he does is truly shocking.
-
That was one of the few times he got exposed so it's unfair that always being brought up, would you use on of the few times prime Terry was caught for pace against him?
-
They can knock all they like, he's got six years left on his deal.
-
Don't think he will be. If we signed a finished product than that would be a different story but this is an investment for the next ten years.
-
I'm not sure about his assist stats but his goal record has improved this season. More goals in over ten less games. Hopefully an upward trajectory in that regard continues next season and beyond.
-
It was about some order they needed to finish for a deadline. It was the West Stand and a near end of season dead rubber, outside of promising attacking situations I could hear pretty much anyone around in close proximity.

Yep

I once sat next to someone with his laptop out conducting a business meeting over skype, beat that!
-
He saved Sigurdson's at Goodison, all be it he scored from the rebound.
-
Word is OGS wants to build the team around McTominay, that plus those extensions already look like we have 1 less team to worry about for top 4 next year. For the record i don't agree with the length of Luiz's new deal but he's like prime Maldini compared to those 3.
-
Would this be the same United that have handed new contracts to Jones, Smalling and Young in recent months by any chance?
-
Exactly, which is why the critisism about Sarri not being balls deep into the team talk is reaching as even the very top managers leave it to others at times.
-
Is that the same Mourinho that (to his own admission) let the masseur do the team talk away to Man.City in his first season back?
-
The match going fans are annoying. I don't question their loyalty but the average fans football knowledge and dare I say at times agenda's are beyond laughable and make us as a general fanbase look like complete idiot's.
-
Cech's been the cup keeper. Is certainly an intresting subplot with him almost certainly returning here in some capacity afterwards. It's a shame that i really hope his last games a miserable one but he made his bed going there.
-
If we don't get a ban we must sign a top LB (Gaya?) and promote James to first Xl, if we do we should do everything we can to recall Aina for LB. The striker issue is well documented but full backs with better end product and this tie would have been won at canter even with Giroud's shit show, the amount of times Azpi and Emerson killed attacks was painful, the latter has a worse final ball than Adama.

I very much am with you regarding the travel however i feel a game in the build up will help us, infact we should probably have another one the Tuesday before Baku. No matter what type of training you do two weeks without a game will affect match sharpness, it's simply too long.
-
It's two and a half weeks between the Leicester game and Baku, i think this may actually help us retain match sharpness in the interim and may even give us an edge over Arsenal. Although the friendly should without doubt be closer to home.
