I hear u and I agree ... Though I wouldnt look at Courtois as someone who came from our youth ranks but Loan system nevertheless. The problem is that there is still a big "If' in your statements ... By now the "if" should had been gone. Thats why the disappoint I feel. I hope it pan out the way U put it and that will surely help someone like me see light at the end of the tunnel.

I dont think anyone opposes the loan system ... In fact it is a good and a brilliant strategy. The problem is the loan system was suppose to be a sub set where we use it to see who is good and who is bad so that they are then integrated into the first team thus saving loads of money along with talent in the process. The sub set is no longer a sub set to integrate youth but it now something which is used to churn out money for the club. Thats why lot of us are disappointed that we could have archived more through this loan process. P.S. Dont get me wrong, making money through any channel is good but for me the vision was just not making money through this system

Mate, you cant just pick up the literal meaning of everything ... I meant to be among the best and surely not wanting that to happen like tomorrow. U and I both know the contribution of Mikel and that of Matic towards the title. Big teams/managers will always be on lookout for qualities (among others) from player who are winners and have won big trophies because they get the same mentality to the team. There is a reason why Matic is wanted by Jose and not Mikel, I cant help if someone cannot see that difference ...

U would be retarded to sell a player who has 2 winners medal in the last 3 year to someone who is our immediate rival when it comes to competing for the PL title. We arent a club which is money hungry currently ... we can afford to take a miss on such situation.

I completely agree that Matic has been bad for us in the last 2 seasons but stating that only Kante was there and Matic just a passenger is just plain ridiculous. Matic had his moments and connected decently with Kante but we would had hoped it was much more. Plus Matic was instrumental under Jose when we won the title.

He might be useless but you just cannot forget his contribution in winning the title last season ... U cant deny that credit to him just like what Matic provided to us. Moses was termed useless until Conte came in ... The simple logic is that you dont sell your players to your rivals even if it's a average player. Period!!! Matic was more than average for us, while Jose wants a player who can provide the discipline of a DM and Matic provides that perfectly. And that how I look at a player, he needs to deliver what he is employed for & be consistent about it. I mentioned it before that individual talent/potentials are very subjective ... for u a X player will be more talented than Y but for others Y would be more than X. Simple logic. I think what everyone were pointing (including me) is that if we are to invest into potentials then we should also consider the ones we have in hand, Bats didnt do a bad job last season when called upon ... Among the list of strikers on the market baring Aubameyang who is head and tails above the Batshiyais, the Morattas, the Bellotis in terms of performance the rest are pretty much in the same boat. They might be less talented or more but in terms of performance they are still looked as potentials. Anyways guess now our discussion wouldnt have much value since we already got our player ... Hoping that both our strikers can give out the good performances that is expected out of them.

Dont see why Arsenal will sell Sanchez to any PL teams even if that is what Sanchez wants. - They cant afford another backlash from their fans after last season. - They are debt free (If i'm not wrong) and they do have solid revenues coming in. Plus they have lower wages than most of the other top teams in the PL. - They have to show that they are competing for the title and missing out on your main man certainly doesnt indicate that ...
