If some had given me 1-1 before the start of the game I would have grabbed with both hands & feet. However now I feel a little disappointed specially the way we played, it was almost the perfect game and we gave Barca a run for their money that too without playing our strikers. Some of us would criticize Conte's tactics but I feel he got it right and also we need to understand this is a 2 leg tie. There was a tremendous passion within the team and more importantly a belief which is so good to see. There was a disappointment after the game that they didnt bag 3 points which showcase the amount of hard work which went off the field for this game. We need to keep the momentum into Camp Nou specially with so many crucial games coming up. P.S. Just a thought, would we be playing 2 strikers at Nou Camp?

Damn!!! Spurs are looking scary at this point of time ... One more world class player or couple of good backups on bench to play a different formation and Spurs would be hard to beat (provided they keep their manager and players). Well said, mate. My opinion is that we have been spoiled for choices post Roman era begin at Chelsea because we could just go ahead and buy anyone & everyone back then. These days we like to play FIFA in the real world as well . (I m sure we will have the same things going for clubs like United, City, PSG, Madrid, all the elite clubs). I'm positive that the generation of fans pre Roman era must have respected quality players for what they brought to the table and their contribution they were so hard to come by. The new age generation (me included) is what I call the Fast food Generation, we associate speed to everything and that is where we dont give longevity a thought. So hearing section of ppl calling out names specially to players/managers without valuing their past contribution is becoming so common these days.

Wow!!! So now we must have exhausted every front line managers who might have turned us down... And we start going after average rated managers ... guess we deserve it.

For starters, it looks like a decent idea ... it gives time for everyone to introspect and clear their minds while in the meantime the board will have a decision made. Rushing into intensive training after a bad defeat further demoralizes players.

Hope the Board and Conte put their shit behind, resolve the current situation and start with winning ways. The board needs to listen to their manager and give them a free hand else it doesnt matter who we bring in ... it will be the same after every successful year we have. Conte can easily get a job at an elite club however Chelsea finding an elite manager is looking blink with every passing season.

Thanks a ton for reiterate the reasons ... grateful for that. I have a different view to the points u mentioned. 1. So we are clearly after a target man ... based on the ongoing rumors of players we're linked with I assume ... My take is currently we need someone who can score goals whether it's a target man or otherwise. And having someone like Auba only helps us who clearly has more goals than both of our strikers (i'm assuming) 2. The market is already inflated ... so does that means we never buy someone who costs a bomb? 3. As far as starting places goes, just because we got Morata whom we paid over the top money means we will never go after someone who can offer us something different/more when clearly Morata is having adaptability issues. Basically we should keep continuing with the hope that maybe in the next few years Morata would come out good. I believe in competition for places and we really dont have it in the striker dept. 4. There is always a first time to do things, mate ... who knows playing 2 strikers would be that things had Auba come in. I m aware of the reasons that u provided ... mine was more of an outburst to the current situation where the board are doing a shitty job.

Pogba as a CM is non effective because the expectation from that position is to keep falling back (basically B2B) in defense which isnt his strong suit. Pogba is only dangerous when he plays as no 10 in a free role. It is going to be fun to see how Jose juggle this one with Sanchez coming in as a starter ... what happens to Lingard (who is in the foam of his life), Martial, Rashford, Mata who will all be fighting for 2 positions.
